"Do they want FEMA to close?" Reid asked.
It has to start somewhere. FEMA, ATF, FBI, CIA, DHS, TSA, DEA, HHS, DOJ, etc, etc, The taxpayers have been taxed enough. Its time to let some of these agencies go belly up.

First of all, the people that need the money are just the lower and middle classes so they don't count to either the Republican or Democratic parties. This is a perfect issue for the politicians to play games since the only people really hurt are the lower and middle classes and these days those people don't have the money to pay the politicians to represent their interests.

If only Mitch McConnell and his buddies had insisted on offsets when George W Bush and his Republican allies were wasting billions on wars, cutting taxes for millionaires, or creating Medicare Part D as a giveaway for big pharma.

They were oblivious to adding to the debt then - but now that it is under a Democratic President and involves helping people who aren't big donors to Republican campaigns, they got no problem insisting on cuts to important programs somewhere else.

Hypocrisy of the highest degree.

The real disaster is that the three bums at the podium on this video all voted to spend $5 trillion we don't have and put us in this pickle in the first place. Liberal, conservative or independent taxpayers should be exploding with rage over these political hacks billing us for all this waste.
