I think Jerry has done so much for so many of us for so many years. If he's not talking about it, then let it lay until he does speak out. I fear this signals something about his health issues. I'd rather remember him for all the good things he did, not a big flap at the end.

Ever since I was born Jerry has been doing this show , his work , his personality is the reason I watched long into the night , and donated year after year . I know in my heart that he would want us to donate again even though he is not there but it was the way ...... not at all .. not even a appearance , seems so cold and so heartless for a man who asked us all to reach into our hearts and pockets for a cause he so believed in to have this be the way it ends seams so sad ...... I am sure he knows what he has done and how he has touched so many lives and I can only wish him all the best and know we will miss him ,,,,... not sure if I will even watch this year ?????

Jerry should have been your spokesperson until his passing out of gratitude and respect for all he has done for MDA. I will never donate again and I started donating at age 10, I am now 53. Stupid move MDA.

They had a golden opportunity to raise super dollars this year by not only appealing for funds, but to give something to show your appreciation for Jerry...and they blew it....Just confirms, A**holes at the top perform like A**holes!!!

Thank you, Mr. Lewis, for all you did, not just for MDA, but for ALL the charities you have sponsored and supported over the years. I won't be watching this years telethon. I doubt I will ever watch it again. Be blessed in all you do!

"Just wanted to drop you folks a note to let you know I will NOT be donating any more money to MDA.

What you did to Jerry Lewis is an out and out crime! That man LIVED for MDA and for those kids. 45 years of his life he gave to you unselfishly. To discount him and to disrespect him in such a manner says much more about your organization than I ever knew.

Thanks for the heads up. My money will go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children instead."
