- Praying for all the families, asking God to give all the families and loved ones His strength, comfort and love. I am thankful for their service, honor and sacrifice and the sacrifice of the families for sharing them with us. God bless them.

- None of these families wanted their sons/daughters to be over there fighting, They would love them to be home surrounded by their families and enjoying their freedom. But Thank God they are there because God knows the next 911 could wipe out a whole city. So soon we forget.
And you Avignon go back to France and sit comfortably while we protect you again.
Try picking up a book to educate yourselves on the danger of these Religious zealots, before you sit back at your desks criticizing these young men (and women). They will murder their own neighbors who differ with their Sharif law. Don't worry about these young men who died,and please don't advise their fellow military who continue to fight. They and their families will pardon your ignorance because they have something you will never have and that is a calling to serve God and country. Heres something you all need to know, the special men of Seal Team Six are NOT little babies to cry over. They were MEN, KILLERS, The best in the world at it. They were there because they endured things that NO OTHER HUMAN being can and they also are there because they are good at what they do, and what they do is KILL the enemies of the United States. So stop all the whining and family grief stories and let the rest of the team and the replacements get on with what they do and stop exposing them and their families merely for ratings. Media types are only exceeded in their loathsomeness by lawyers and sometimes they even stoop lower.

- If you don't want to die or lose your legs in a pointless war then don't join the US military - IT'S VERY SIMPLE! I have no sympathy for anyone who does, but I DO have sympathy for the countless innocent people killed, maimed, tortured and imprisoned by the US military in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, etc. etc.

- It is very sad what happened to the Seals and those aboard the air vehicle that was attacked by the Enemy. The person executing the order for the flypath of the aircraft was incompetent to send his or her men to die without first investigating the vector the aircraft would take and knowing that the terrain had unknown risks it would have been the INTELLIGENT thing to send unmanned drones ahead of the helicopter to investigate such terrain plus an unmanned Helicopter Decoy that would have taken the hit instead!and more than likely one of the Afghans on board the downed helicopter jeapordized the mission by leaking information out to the enemy of the the path the aircraft would take.
