Scarey Perry and Wailin' Falin should humbly ask the local Native Americans to do a rain dance...oops, forgot...wrong deities.

It's not really a heat wave! It's a diabolical plan by Mr. Burns using a giant magnifying glass over the state of Oklahoma causing record high temperatures so people will be forced to run their A/C non-stop.

And Mr. Burns' nuclear plant reaps the rewards. Ex-cellent, Smithers!!

When you don't believe in global warming you're left with...prayer? What an idiot!

My grandfather used to say pray in one hand and spit? in the other to see which one gets full first. Some water and cooling centers might be more useful. God helps those who help themselves.

Since both the majority and many of our government leaders have forsaken the values of compassion, integrity, respect, love for our neighbors I ask why should our God of the Bible hear our prayers for help? It appears from the Old Testament that very time Israel became wealthy and powerful, they forgot their relationship with God. Look what happened to them????

Hey Gov. Fallin- you'd have better luck having a Native American doing a traditional rain dance instead of looking to some deity for relief.
How stupid. I can't believe that people still think that prayer is the answer to everything.

What are we? Some backward Middle Eastern country? Never mind! Don't answer that!

What we are is truly the laughing stock of the civilized world!!

Perhaps they can turn to the native Americans and ask them to do a rain dance. Probably not as we have thoroughly pissed them off by violating their sovereign nation status.

How much you want to bet that the Oklahoma Republicans are going to blame Obama for this?

I refuse to believe that everything happens because you don't pray hard enough, or that prayer more is going to change anything besides ones own personal life. Faith has it's benefits, using the mind to heal yourself, etc. People change through faith for the better. But having faith in magical weather control, etc; is a waste of time. If prayer worked for this purpose it would be nice. It would also be nice to pray away the wars, famine, etc. But it doesn't work. Going to someone with some food and water that is starving to death does work because you are not sitting in one spot dabbling with faith magic.
