This in America, land of the free! Economic slaves, the rich constantly complain about taxes, capitalism is considered best over all other systems, the military industrial complex has helped drive the country into bankrupcy due to their constant paranoia, the banks own more houses than the citizens do, our leaders constantly try to preach to other countries how to run theirs, our very own supreme court rules that corporations can participate in the political process, people are brainwashed by slick political adds paid for by the corporations and the wealthy, corporations have more say in government policy than the people, . . . America has become a sick society, unable to cure itself, unable to control the greed driven corporate fascist capitalist government. "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." Benito Mussolini I am a socialist and proud of it . . . Einstein was too . . . and he stated that he would never trust human nature (those with wealth) to do the right thing . . . We have more and better means of production than we have ever had before, yet we have a widening gap between the rich an the poor . . . that has got to tell you something. Some clown the other day paid 2.3 million dollars for a photo of Billy the Kid. And the rich still whine and complain . . . they are like pigs with a full trough, squealing for more, even though they already have more than enough.

Anyone with an IQ above their shoe size has known this for decades ... of course the path of the US is guided by business interests, particularly military contractors.

Do corporate interests rule Washington? Daaaaaaaaaaaaa. Like the evidence wasn't conclusive many decades ago? An article written by someone so profoundly out of touch (in a cave since age 2) that they are uncertain whether parents actually "have sex" in order to bear children. ANSWER: Yes, they have sex and yes, the corporate empire owns Washington lock, stock and barrel. Next question.

Good for you! Keep it coming. We need help out here and we are not getting it from a government bought and paid for by huge corporations. It's like the old days of CBS coming back again. You can't say it too often. It's decades past time to rein in corporate power.

Since 1990, corporate special interests and right wing organizations have contributed about $ 3 billion in Federal elections with the majority of the money going to Republicans. Why Republicans? Because those contributors know they have an immoral love of money.

Headline should read: Are Republicans owned by special corporate interests? If you answer no, you must live in a paralell planet. If you answer yes, then you must be really hacked-off. By the way, five words describe who is at fault for the economic disaster in America: George Bush and Wall Street.
