We all know we SHOULD forgive, but rarely do any of us have the natural ability to do so.

Most of us need help. We need to learn HOW. There's a book for that. It teaches a Five Step Forgiveness Technique and a lot more. Anyone who needs help can use that.

It's powerful and liberating to be able to truly forgive.

Can anyone see this scenario happening:

Mary: Oshea, can you bring help me bring in the groceries?

Oshea: Not now woman!

Mary: Did you forget that you killed my son?

Oshea: Here, let me grab those for you.

Here is one of God's great life giving stories and mysteries. We just happen to be present to observse God's way of doing things. Viewing God's hand in open, pure, and perfect action. God made us all to be great being made in His Great image. We all have the propensity to be great! We often fall short, it is the sin within our nature, our dark side that causes us to miss the mark of God. But when we let God's nature within us shine forth through Jesus Christ! We shine as we were created to Shine and God is Glorified.

I heard their story on the NPR program Story Core. I was blown away by the forgiveness of this woman and the powerful message that we can all take from her. We can forgive each other the little things if she can forgive her son's murderer for taking his life. I applaud you Mary - God Bless...

Overruled1, A relationship with God is one thing and religion is another. I'm Just a man that lived out in the world for 21 years I did everything that most people do, then one day God spoke to me, and I spoke back. He gave me a reason not to hate but to love, because He is the Author of Love and Peace, a reason to rise above my own sinful nature of hate and see that there is another way. Now Any thing else you may not understand, but Since I gave my life to God through Jesus Christ, and not to religion, I have Joy and Peace and the Love of God living within me. So I understand this lady because this is the way God does it. One last thing? This is something you will have to experience. Talking about it is like seeing your shadow on the ground. It is the image of you! But no one can know you just by seeing your shadow alone.

Forgiveness? A bit of a stretch. Let's hope she isn't throwing her pearls and that he is truly appreciative.
