- Dumping Bin Laden's body into the ocean was pure genious. Hopefully they put it through a meat grinder first. Otherwise, Bin Laden's body might wash-up on a shore. No gravestone, no urn, no shrine for terrorist sympathizers to visit. Taking Bin Laden alive would have been costly and a waste of money. As for Pakistan, there is no way Bin Laden could be living where he was without the knowledge of the Pakistani authorities. To believe otherwise is foolish.

- When I think of the defense of America and our SEAL Team going in after Bin Laden, there is only one awesome video of AC/DC performing "Shoot to Thrill" live that can describe our successful hunt for Bin Laden. Here it is, enjoy, it rocks!

- I guess kindness and diplomacy has shown its worth against Bin Laden and his ilk time and again... All the lilly-livered dreamers who wanted us to hold Al Quaeda fighters in air conditioned cells watching TV, where we could ask them nicely to tell us where the bad guys lived have to try to stick the landing to reality... These are tough dudes who live in places that would make a rattlesnake shy away... Sorry, but the harsh reality is that without the Enhanced Interrogation techniques, we would have never found Bin Ladin... Great idea, sending him down to the bottom of the sea, where he will be ingested by the monsters of the deep. As for his afterlife, I am sure there is a special orb in hell reserved just for his ilk, right next to Hitler, Mao and Stalin...

- AtlanticWire today released a short article regarding a classified government document leaked to Wikileaks just days ago.
It clearly identifies Maulawi Abd al-Khaliq Jan as OBL's "designated courier" in July 2003. It links al-Khaliq with a detainee at Guantanamo who "in mid-2003 .. moved his family to Abbottabad, PK".
Does this contradict widespread reports that it was "about four years ago that U.S. intelligence finally determined the courier's real name: Maulawi Abd al-Khaliq Jan"? While this may only be a minor detail, it appears that the US has known the courier's real name for about eight years and that he had links to the detainee in question, who had relocated to Abbottabad.

- @torrymurray - assuming that I believe that OBL was responsible for 9/11. And exactly who gets to determine who is and is not deserving of a proper burial or cremation?

- For those of you that are horrified by the inhumane treatment of Bin Laden, you will now have an opportunity to register your displeasure by boycotting the movie that is already being made about it. See:

- Congratulations to the military and President Obama, but to all those who complained about the harsh interrogation methods used in Guantanamo under President Bush, if they had not been used this mass murder would be alive today. The information obtained in Guantanamo lead directly to the identification of the courier that lead them to bin Laden. Those parsing Obama should applaud Bush also.

Hey you ignorant bigot (yes. your handle telles it all):
Do you even know what happened to Hitler? For your uneducated information, he committed suicide and ordered his aides to burn his body. This was found by the Russians and his remains have been stored in a drawer at the Kremlin ever since.
Your lack of knowlege makes ME sick.

Bigot (LOL). New to this blog are you? Anyone who posts here regularly knows that I am a black man. Your assumptions make me sick. - Reply to this comment
- Very impressed with sending Osama to the bottom of sea. This way no investigation, no lawyers, no debate, not judicial long case, and hence saving millions of dollers for HARD WORKING MIDDLECLASS Americans. Otherwise rich would snitch away those from us from Medicare, School, college tutions.
We really have to be worried by Rich, FOxes, Conservative, Rushes, Teas who have demonstrated to distroy, object, divert American progress for self professy and greed. - Reply to this comment
