The only way to win a war like this is to take control of the entire country .And the the only way to do this is to have "boots" on the ground. The second world war was not won with "half measures". It took the commitment of the "ENTIRE" country and it's resourses to win. If the forces in Iraq were on the same level as those arrayed against Japan and Germany ,the war would most likely be over by now.

One question that keeps rattling around in my mind is this: What with all the incontravertible evidence of manifold crimes committed by this regime, why haven't they been brought to trial and put in prison for life? What are we waiting for? What are we afraid of? Terrorists? They're right there, under our noses, and if we don't stop them soon, they'll bury us all.

If Bush was serious about winning this war he would have mobilized everything in his arsonal to ensure a swift and decisive victory. The American public has been duped time and time again by this president. It is a shame that corporate America has taken control of the government's ability to represent the true wishes of the public.

I think it is incredible that Bush is declaring; that the war on terror is on the same threat level as the war against nazi germany. I have yet to see the United States government mobilize the entire country in response to this "great" threat. During the second world war, America ,as well as Britain and Canada went to war totally commited to winning . It seems that this "war on terror" is just another way to rob the American people of their money and lives.

For those that still have any form of belief in this administration and GWB, please digest this quote for a moment.

"Of course the people don't want a war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Hermann Goering,
Nazi Reichsmarshall/Luftwaffe-Chief
(at the Nurembery Trials)

Why is it that so many of those today, not knowing the true author, would assume that these words were scripted right out of this administrations evil and lies? What's worse is that there are still those, regardless of what has been established as fact, who will defend, at the cost of American lives, at the cost of looking ignorant, this administration to the very end, because they are so righteous and single minded that they are unable to acknowledge or distinguish fact from fiction.

Since Jay Rockefeller now admits he duped his fellow Democrats into what he believes is an unjust war with Saddam he should resign office.
