- I am willing to give Ms. Couric a try. However, last night's "news" seemed anything but that. Much of what I saw and heard was more like watching a shortened segment of 60 Minutes, a show for which I have great admiration. But when I turn on the news, I want to hear about what is happening in the whole world on this day. Of course I also want background information, but it felt to me that there was little substantive news.
There was also a very gimmicky air about it.

- The show basically sucked. It looked like a televised propoganda magazine the way Couric kept trying to steer the conversation and using keywords that were obviously biased. Get a life you lefty libs, move to anywhere-but-the-U.S. It was more like a talk-show than it was anything else. I kept waiting for Stupid-Human-Tricks to show up. Oh wait a minute...that was it!!!
