What is this last comment about " selling your ticket" to the inauguration?! It seems to be a comment which " slights" the President -Elect.

HAVE YOU GONE COMPLETELY SENILE AND LOST YOUR FEEBLE MIND?. HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST THAT YOU WOULD SELL YOUR INAUGURATION TICKET TO SOMEONE WHO REALLY WANTS TO GO. SHAME ON YOU YOU OLD GEEZER. SOME PEOPLE I KNOW, INCLUDING MYSELF, WOULD FEEL HONORED TO BE CHOSEN TO BE PRESENT AT ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURALS EVER IN HISTORY (OK, WASHINGTON AND LINCOLN EXCEPTED). - I can not believe how Andy finished his segment - time to retire, Andy. The whole nation wants to attend this inauguration. Hotels are sold out as far away as West Virginia. The gaul to be so dis-interested is sad. Sell your ticket, sell your seat at CBS, sell your train pass and retire, Sir!

- Andy, tonight''s segment was somewhat interesting but I really didn''t care for your closing comment about giving your ticket to someone who wanted to go (paraphrasing, of course). How could you not want to attend the most historically significant inauguration in a long time. From one of your Canadian neighbours, I''m glad that most of your country is not as cynical and looks forward to the new administration with hope and enthusiasm.

- Andy Rooney''s monologue regarding the inauguration was out of line and served no purpose. I usually enjoy his portion of the show but this was a direct degradation of Barack Obama.
