I have heard of the fighting going on in Gaza. Gee, don''t you just with they could get along. My uncle had a friend who could not get along with his wife. They fought over everything. Well. Sometimes they show on TV people who argue all the time. I just try to get another channel. Sometimes I even go get ice cream. Doesn''t ice cream make you feel better, even with bullets over your head.
I had a friend in the second world war, who just liked ice cream of all kinds. He could not get his true faorite, vanilla.
His name was Ed.
We had a horse with that name. Except we called her Edwinna.

Way back in the 1960s, I used to go through my high school homework on Sunday nights, and listen to an old duffer on 60 minutes. I could do this easily, since the show had nothing important to say.
At the time, I think he was in black and white.

Now I am nearly retired, and have long ago stopped watching that show. Funny how some things that are really great just go on and on. Like ice cream that never melts.
Andy. You have long ago melted. What is the point of your little essay. F.
I like Hillary Clinton, how about you.

For a broadcast that reaches millions of people across the country and world, your concluding comments tonight were most inappropriate and left many of us with a negative view of you. If you had nothing positive to present, perhaps it would have been better if you had simply said nothing. This is one of the most prestigious moments in the history of the United States and the world, and to have you degrade the occasion was an insult to those of us who have worked so fervently for this "Change" to become a reality.
Even though the commentary was an "Andy Rooney" message, the comments reflect negatively on the 60 Minutes program as a whole.

Mr Rooney, it is time for CBS to pack you up to a retirement home or a mental institute. It is an injustice for us to be tortured by a senile individual like you when it concerns the Obama inaugration. If you do get a ticket send it to Ottawa, Canada i think i can do something more useful with it and go see the Obamas get sworn in.Oh and by the way,on that day send yourself to a pity party with Sarah Palin in Alaska or with McCain in the Hamptons!

Is he really wanting to SELL his tickets that were SENT to him in the mail to someone who really wants to attend? Why??? Is he wanting to profit off an event he chooses not to attend. How outrageous. Yes, Andy, it''s time to hang up that old down coat and RETIRE!!!

Andy''s conclusion tonight was surprisingly and particularly "ungracious." I''m mildly surprised at this kind of negativity when so many people are looking forward to being hopeful about something, for a change.

So lets see...you end your commentary by saying, "I hope my inauguration tickets are in the mail...maybe I will sell the tickets to someone who really wants to go". WOW! What an ungrateful slob you are. Yes, I read between the words that you DON''T want to go, even though it''s the most positive event of the 21st century. I WON''T speculate as to WHY you wouldn''t want to go, but I would really like to know. I know your commentary is SUPPOSE to be sarcasm, but if that was your intent I wish you could have been a little more respectful about a "first" in American history. I can''t imagine you being so crass about another "First" that should make us all be proud to witness and to have an opportunity to possibly attend, when SO MANY will NOT have the means or access that someone in your position does...well I just expected better from someone of your stature.

We viewers have observed Andy Rooney move from codger to inappropriate with tolerance. His comments tonight about an Obama inauguration ticket crossed a line for me. Although I have watched this program for more years than I can remember, I will no longer be in the room when this embarrasment is on the air.
