- Facebook is going down. Without Massive changes to their capabilities ...They should just try to pump it up and sell it before the users get tired of the ridged boring limiting interface. Good news for us bad news for future stock holders who get popped in the FB micro bubble. I give the 11-16 months until they are ether sold or buried. I'm being kind. - I was frustrated about them claiming to having invented the social network. That was invented before they were born. I was in a social network on my computer back in 1982. Compuserve and Plink had graphics like yoville back then.

- 60 Minutes is a great show and sheds some light on interesting topics that further demonstrate the pulse of America, which in several instances, is the pulse of the world. During the interview with the Facebook founder, I immediately felt compelled to write some thoughts down: Generational Shift, Wikileaks generation, Transparency, Short-term gratification and Fact-less rumors.
Facebook provides a great forum for much of the world's population, shortening the distance between locations, and perhaps lessening cultural differences some day. I am concerned with the apparent generational shift that assumes the intimate Facebook transparency into one's life is acceptable behavior. I certainly believe that this same mentality assumes the Wikileaks scandal is clearly justified, regardless of how much diplomatic, economic, religious or cultural damage is experienced by the people, nations or militaries involved or mentioned in the leaked private correspondence.
In conducting research, it is necessary to put forth an effort that will strengthen your arguments with facts. I doubt friends on Facebook will be able to provide you the relevant information that could be found on search engines or library websites. Facebook can easily be used to spread fact-less rumors that result in dire consequences. Should the U.S. Department of Justice or similar organizations in other nations become involved to prosecute those who willfully yell "fire" in the crowded theater of Facebook?
Finally, short-term gratification has done so much to so many who feel that the world owes them. Instant gratification without consequences is a mainstay of the generational shift I mentioned earlier. The posts that accompany this story are interesting. If Facebook does such bad things, then why remain part of the network? Maybe you should search for lemmings. - Reply to this comment

The face book creators was really a genius guys ... but they are at the same time , a bad kids ... criminals and stupids ... i am one of millions of the facebook victims whom works on their facebook account for months to find themselves out ... disabling account is crime like killing someone ... or stopping an account for days or more is sucks ... specially that you can't contact them or to ask ask them why you disabled my account ... finally i found the only solution is to creat a social network samelike face book i called " NICEBOOK" i am very sure that the "NICEBOOK" is the solution... will grow fast at the same time facebook is in its way to loose their clients because they are n't respect the efforts,the time & the huge reputation of their members ... good bye face book ... welcome to"NICEBOOK" century >>> at this link you can register easily >>>
