Anderson - I wasnt really sure what your objective was for this interview? That aside, why on earth would CBS have Pfizer sponser the web content page when his recent troubles are due in part to addiction to prescription narcotics? Of course Pfizer does not manufacture or distribute any of the pills he mentioned but seriously? CBS couldnt find another sponser for this story?

CBS even censored my blog comment @3:59am containing the "b" word for women and the "f" word for gays. Anderson even said the words on the air. How can they justify censoring the words of someone(Eminem)that they and Anderson consider to be a "genius"? Blasphemy!

This was is an embarrassingly weak interview. Obviously Anderson had no intention of challenging Eminem in any way. Not only did he blow Eminem?s so-called talent way out of proportion, his comparison of Eminem to a boxer was laughable; he?s a friggin rap singer!

Eminem?s ?talent? is all about coming up with the best ?rhymes? like Doctor Seuss whose audience most likely has the same IQ as Eminem?s.

Eminem excused the use of his offensive and violent language by saying that he was ?being attacked? for the color of his skin and that everyone else was doing it, and, at Anderson?s suggestion, he felt he was being ?singled out?. He even laughed when Anderson read his lyrics with the word ?*****? in it. Eminem admitted that he doesn?t allow profanity in his home, but it is perfectly acceptable in order to earn his millions.

If Anderson and CBS think that ?Marshall? is such a respectable ?artiste? then why did they censor his words so much during the interview and the ?behind the scenes? crap?

No matter when this report was filmed, it was still surprising that Anderson gave Eminem a pass for using the word ?******? because, for as long as I can remember, Anderson has always gone out of his way to condemn hate speech against gays. When he asked Eminem about his use of the word ?******?, his lame excuse was, ?the scene that I came up in, that word was thrown around so much.? When Anderson asked him if he had a problem with gay people Eminem just said, ?I don?t have any problem with nobody?, but he stopped short of saying that he supported gay rights. Anderson should have been at least as critical of Eminem?s excuse as he was about ?The Dilemma? trailer.

Anderson must be musically illiterate to think that Eminem is the first songwriter to manipulate words to fit into a song. Anyone who knows anything about songwriters knows that they have always used clever ways of manipulating words for years, such as stuttering and deliberate mispronunciation to make the words work. It is not unique to Eminem, as Anderson seemed to suggest. He didn?t invent the technique.

The only thing I agreed with in the piece was when Anderson suggested that Eminem is successful because of the controversy not necessary because of any real talent.

Obviously this is one of what I suspect will be many attempts at attracting viewers to Anderson?s new celebrity daytime gig. It will be a celebrity ass-kissing hour if this interview is any indication of what it is going to be like.

OK, I am a member of 60 Minutes "target audience": over 50, white, college educated. So I knew next to nothing about rap or Eminem. If I am a typical viewer, why didn't Cooper ask Eminmen some of the obvious questions viewers like me might have, like why does a white guy who grew up in the hyper-segregated neighborhoods of Detroit speak as if he was black? And what about the cross he was wearing? Is he a Christian? If yes, how does he see his art through the lens of his faith? And I think Cooper let him off too easily on whether he is a homophobe or not. Not one of Cooper's better interviews!

Wow, I was kind of shocked with all the negative comments. Lets face it, Eminem Rocks, otherwise we wouldn't have been watching it. Your in bad shape as a parent if your child becomes a failure because they listen to a song on the radio. That just means you didn't do your job! Don't worry about what goes on in his home, worry about what's going on in yours! My life as a child was great, I have never felt the pain he has and his story is a touching one, anyone not touch by his drive to overcome, clearly has no heart! Don't get me started on the foul language, you can't even go to the mall without hearing it, so please don't use that as an excuse to slam him. As a mother of four, my children and I will continue to drive down the road, radio blasting, singing "I'm not afraid".

Man all this negativity:) Ammo just keeps buildin' and buildin'. He's gonna need a lot more boxes if ya ask me. I've been listenin to his art since I was 5 years old, I actually taught myself not to use his explicit language around my elders because I know what respect is. Marshall spits from his heart and from what he's seen throughout his life and if you can's deal with us kids being taught by such a teacher then get lost, you have no reason to hate. I'ma take Ems moms part from Cleaning Out My Closet.. "If you ain't got nothin' nice to say then don't say nothin'!" Peace and Love Marshall.

I honestly can't believe all of the negative comments coming in. And most of them are from people who do not even know how to spell correctly! That says a lot there! He is not the only person out there using foul language. Get over it. All of the haters can turn the station. Who is forcing you to listen to his music? There are so many other "real" problems in this world that we should be concerned with, not what Eminem is saying! You should be ashamed of some of the words being written on this webpage. I am a 38 year old mother of 3 and enjoy his music. And, my kids do listen to some of his "cleaner" songs. I monitor their music, computer and tv usage. They do not have phones or facebook profiles either...This is what they call parenting. We, the parents are the ones who are in charge of what our children do,say, listen to, etc....NO ONE else. Like I said, Get over it!
