- The Utopian driven NYC liberal Press ignores the fact that there are only a relative handful of real moderate and brave Muslims who speak out, and demonstrate. This IMAN is not one of them, and infact is in league with all the bad guys.
Like ARAFAT, he says one thing to us.
To be informed, just read MEMRI.org and JIHAD WATCH. IT is amazing that just about every day, there is an outraged attack vs. Western Civilization. Every day. - Reply to this comment
- By the way you hate mongering racist, while you're busy obsessing over the past sins of the "white tea party", know that the "white tea party" folks, the typical white folks (y'all), have self corrected most of these wrongs while you were busy fostering your hatred. You might pull your head out of the dark and dank crevace you keep in in, for a peek at progress. Then, when you get your bearings, take a look at how self correcting Islamic countries are. How's that working out? Religion has created a lot of problems and America still has some warts, but building a Mosque isn't the answer. Islam has proven 100% of the time, that it is repressive.

- The Imam is right; this is a fight for the minds of all Muslims and non Muslims alike, as radicals; on both sides, are winning the ground! We as Americans should uphold the constitution and live up to its promise of equality to all, regardless of religion, creed, ethnic or national origin.
Most Muslims in America are well aware of this nation's embattled history; slavery, the decimation and dispossession of the Indian nations, the racial and gender struggle for equality. We can make America better for all; that is the promise of the constitution. Great Reporting CBS! - Reply to this comment
- I think this is such BS!! If he was so concerned about the feelings or opinions of the American people, then why doesn't he move the Mosque to another area that's not so close to ground zero. We the American people do not need nor want the Mosque. If you know that this is hurting the people that were really affected by the collasp of the twin towers, and you feel we need to heal, then move!! Move your 16 floor building somewhere else where it doesn't cause a lot of flack. I don't think this gentleman is honest about anything he is saying. I think this is a bad move on his part and he's leaving the door open for just about anything.

- Imam Rauf,
I anxiously await the next installment of "Muslim leaders of tomorrow". - Reply to this comment
- There is Yassir Qadhi, anointed by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf as a "Muslim leader of tomorrow", who has said: "Hitler never intended to destroy the Jews... The Hoax of the Holocaust -- I advise you to read this book, you'll want to write this down -- The Hoax of the Holocaust, a very good book. All of this is false propaganda..." -----Yeah, we wouldn't want to rush to conclusions!

You're right. What's your point? What would you have us do other than "innocent until proven guilty"?? THAT's my main question in this entire situation. - Reply to this comment
