I see that I will have to do this in two parts.

Here is a another way the VA gets out of doing anything for a retired Vet

Part 1
I am a retired Vet from the Air Force. I have several medical problems that I?m trying to get the VA to agree on. My biggest problem is the fact that they?re unable to find my medical record. I have made a small copy of some of my medical records but it is not the complete set that would include all of the lab work. Right now the burden of proof lies with the vet if the VA is unable to find their medical records. This is where I disagree with. When I retired, 1991, I have an ?OUT PROCESSING SHEET? I got to the different departments and give them this form, a copy or two of my retirement orders and then I?m done. Like turning in my flight equipment, getting debriefed since I flew on the NECAO aircraft. They then sign off on the form saying that you complied with their requirements. Well when you go to the hospital, stop off by the record section and give them the form and copies of the orders, you never see your medical records. Now there are lots of vets out there that will agree with what I?m going to say next. There have been on numerous occasions that you would go to the record section to pick up your medical records and they?re unable to either find them or they tell you there at the clinick where your app is. You go there and they say no we don?t have them. So they fill out a form send you to the doctor and them he would write what he find wrong with you and your thinking that this will get into your medical records. It properly will but there are cases where it does not. Again you have no control over this. I was arguing with the VA about my Acid Reflux problem. This went on for over a year. I finally had a Fundoplication procedure done. There were parts of the medical records that I provided that stated that I had this problem while in the service. Was hospitalized for pains in my chest that they stated was due to heart burn, yet I still had to prove this. Then I get a letter saying that I will receive 10% disability from this. Well I was receiving 10% ever since I retired for the following items:
