- It's a real laugh to hear Pretty Boy Ryan talk about the do nothing Congress, when he's one of the laziest guys on the Hill. Other than working out and honing his 6 pack abs he's done nothing. In 13 YEARS this guy has a grand total of TWO bills to his name. One to rename a Post Office, the other something to do with taxes on arrows. But he's got great abs. Pretty Boy has really earned his big fat government salary and benefits.

- "This is a guy who is highly analytical." (said by Romney, speaking to Schieffer, about Ryan.) But not when it come to Social Security nor Medicare.

- FYI:
C-span will have a report on Ryan, at the same time.
But C-span repeats their reports more frequently?~ - Reply to this comment

- What Romney & Ryan did in answering the question they wanted to talk about (the lack of job creation in this country) from the question Bob Schieffer asked is called a pivot. It is classic debating, especially when dealing with opponents that try to frame the discussion in areas that you feel are off topic.
For those who like the liberal leaning media and feel that Mr. Romney is hiding something, then it is obviously frustrating that there is no follow up to a question about Mr. Romney's tax returns. Since he released only what is legally required and didn't follow the crowd (by releasing more), he must be guilty is the assumption.
May we all be blessed never to have the electorate as a majority be so stupid as to assume that just because you don't want to talk about something you must be guilty of whatever the other side alleges (even without evidence). Ask yourselves, should President Obama have had to release his birth certificate just because there were many saying he wasn't a U.S. Citizen? (Or had he not released his birth certificate, should we have considered him guilty?) Yes, there are people on both the left and the right that use the same stupid arguments because there are people who buy them, repeat them, and swallow them-- and are outraged when others do it to them...
I for one am more interested in hearing about what people plan to do and the direction they will take this nation in. I agree with Romney & Ryan that jobs and the economy are the more important issues (the future) as opposed to (the past-- former tax returns)-- and I haven't heard much from President Obama about what he's planning to do to improve things. - Reply to this comment
- Happy to see the next President and Vice President of the United States on your program. However, Mr. Sheiffer, I am so disappointed you bought up the question of the tax returns, frankly a non-issue for most Americans. I am so grateful that Gov. Romney and Rep. Ryan bought the conversation back to the more substantive discussions of the country's problems and plans to solve them. Could the Media please concentrate on only the important issues from now on? Stop looking for sound bites and reporting all of that Obamabaloney. Have some pride in your profession.

- Word is out that Ryan and Time Palenty had to show 6 years of Tax returns to be considered and now there both playing games with the American People about how many Tax returns Romeny wants to show with this information it changes nothing and now he going to take Ryan with him with this farce and he should man up and clear the air by real easing the same amount of years if in fact there is nothing to hide. These two men represent Corporate White America and not the People of the United States and I hope they never step foot near the White House or this country is doomed.

- Ryan is HOT, HOT HOT! Great choice...focused, intelligent, decisive, honest, handsome, young, smooth, interesting, concerned...looks like Obama's charm is going to take a back seat with this hottie! Ouch! Way to go Romney...very inspiring that we finally have HOPE that you both will be the "solution" to our Obama "problem!"
