- It is irresponsible journalism to only believe one so-called study and one that wasn't done on a large enough sample group and for longer periods of time. Not everyone metabolizes food related items the same. This is more junk science from the wacko left and their agenda to control every aspect of our lives. Nothing is harmful when consumed in moderation.

- I wouldn't want to be the CEO of Coca Cola, MCDonalad's or any fast food chain as more and more people accept that sugar is a toxin. Just about every product they sell has large quantities of sugar. Imagine if it were commonly accepted that sugar is a toxin. There would be class action McLawsuits and McPayouts to everyone in America.

- Is it Sugar -- or is it "processed foods" - like "refined" sugar. Has any one tested the plain sugar cane or honey that has not been processed or refined? Our bodies were designed to eat RAW foods, not cooked or processed. I even wonder about our "processed" milk and other products for "shelf-life" as being also bad like the trans fats were realized.

- Just saw this on 60 Minutes. Everyone apparently should cower in a corner and be spoon fed cardboard if you want to live past 80? Why not enjoy your life as it is?
