- We were attacked because of our foreign policies....tho it was a terrible tragedy, if Bush had done his paperwork, which Clinton left and Rice admitted to reading, about possible airplane attack, maybe they could have prevented the attack. I tend to think they didn't want to.....A good reason was needed to insert ourselves into the middle east's oil reserves. What good had really come of Iraq invasion? Why didn't we send in a few good men to off Bin Laden instead of bombing all of Afganistan, at the cost of billions of dollars and thousands of lives. Seriously.

- Leslie Stahl continues to be your biggest embarrassment on 60 minutes. I honestly don't know if she is really that naive or she is committed to a certain political agenda, but her questions on this recent CIA story underscore her one way, myopic "reporting" style. I'm not giving her credit for making the decision to do this interview (which took guts), but i am glad we got the hear it, despite Leslie's BS. Honestly, she should do soft news that doesn't rely on her being non-biased in her reporting style. Hard, news breaking questioning i expect from CBS, the best news org in the world, but Leslie does not represent this non-biased "lets get to the truth" type reporting. She uses this bully pulpit to try to show what she wants to be the truth. thanks for listening.

Torture is a PsyWar nightmare, and it encourages others to treat our people in the same way when captured. This incompetent idiot Rodriguez has harmed our nation severely in ways that will take 50 years or more to undo. We had most of the world convinced we really were the good guys until we started using 'bad guy' tactics.
Psychiatrists have a plethora of drugs that can produce any mental state. Let a Psychiatrist interrogate your prisoners and you get accurate information in a matter of hours at most. There is simply no need for these stone-age techniques which we hung Japanese officers for using against our POWs in WWII. Using torture techniques has harmed, and continues to harm, the war effort in Afghanistan. - Reply to this comment
- I can't believe Leslie Stahl had the nerve to say that things changed in our country due to how we have had to deal with lying murders. I will tell you when America changed, when we could no longer feel like we could fly in an airplane without being worried about being flown into a building. How about the feeling like you can no longer take for granted and trust that the people you love will come home after putting in a hard day's work because a group of animals decided that their lives had no value. How about how we had to explain these events to our children who now have images of planes flying into our buildings and collapsing on rescue workers. Things changed in our country due to these events not because we have had to protect ourselves. If we have anyone to thank for change, thanks go out to the terrorists who took away our feeling of security. Perhaps you should look to these events as the cause for our "change."

- So Mr. Rodriquez wants us to believe that he destroyed the 92 video tapes not to cover up CIA torture acts but to protect his CIA employees' families from Al Qaeda retaliation yet he exposes himself and family to this same risk buy going on national TV to sell his book and driving around town in a Corvette convertible; not exactly keeping a low profile for his family's sake, is he?.

The real terrorist are the agents of our privately controlled money system: the Federal Reserve(American arm of the international bankers who set the cost of our money via their control of interest rates). They're not the Feds and there isn't a reserve just a counterfeit scam of our country's money which has lost 98% of its value through inflation(hidden tax) since the 1913 Federal Reserve Act was createdss.
Private control of a county's money is a breeding ground for evil: Media/politicians lying the country into war, paid for by printing money and inflation, Congress blocks investigation on why we were lied to war, ect.
More Government evil: FDA allowing chemicals like BPA to poison us via cash receipts and food containers causing: cancer, new born birth defect, reproductive problems, ect. AHA paying hospitals to give patients drugs that kill, see: TPA stroke death risk. TPA for stroke is a drug waiting for 75 million baby boomer's in hospital emergency rooms. It provides little to no benefit and will kill 10-15% of patients using it. See: AAEM TPA position. AAEM is an organization of several thousand emergency room workers who give TPA to patients and they do not accept any funding from drug companies; AAEM does not support this drug as the "standard of care" for stroke. Standard blood thinners, rehabilitation, and the body's ability to heal itself goes a long way to recover from a stroke.

- Thanks Leslie for allowing us understanding our government better - it seems in 21-century there is no differences between animals and humans - you kill, and I will do the same. We would like to enforce POW established standards but exempt ourselves, a true democracy.
I believe FBI should use the same "enhanced interrogation techniques" on Jose Rodriguez to see if he works for KGB with one mission in mind - destroying US repetition in the word. What right does he have destroying official documents unless he is covering his and/or someone else as.................. - How did this notion get started that physician-assisted waterboarding is "torture"? REAL torture would break skin, draw blood, break joints, tear muscles or tendons and leave scars or permanent physical damage. Physician-assisted waterboarding on the other hand is an ingenuous, safe and humane procedure that only gives the detainee loose stools and leaves no permanent physical or psychological scars as we can see from the THREE Al Qaeda terrorists who this procedure was used on. We would have NEVER have found Osama Bin Laden if Obama's rules of interrogation - basically polite conversation over tea and hummus with soft music in the background - had been used on these ferile Al Qaeda animals who were willing to die for their cause.

- As I sit and read the posts, I find that almost everybody that takes the time to post a comment is as anti-american as Lesley Stahl herself. Sure these people need to be tortured, they are more than prepared to die. Jose did nothing wrong, he followed the rules, if that is unacceptable then we might as well just let all of the terrorists come on over here, have tea with us, behead us, and take over the country. That sound great! They can hang out with our socialist leader, when we're gone. As for Bulldozer-Shaz and chevyhotrod, why don't you go post over on some other anti-american website, instead of posting the same crap over and over again.
