- I agree with some of you. Mike made a horrific deed. He paid his dues and he is remorseful. He needs a second chance. If anybody wants to go after criminals, there are child molesters out there going after your kids. Why are they free. Get them before they hurt your children. I just want to know what Mike is going to do with millions he is going to make. Is he going to help dog shelters or other animals?

- NOBODY wants to see or hear Mike Vick!!
Surely there is something more important to talk about!!
How do you get a message to Mr. (I let thugs play pro football) Goodell??
Tell us THAT in the interview as well as all NFL sponsors. - Reply to this comment
- Why don't you do a segment on the Best Friends Sanctuary out in Utah. That's where many of the Vicktory Dogs went and still are due to thecruelty of the man you wish to give 15 minutes of airtime. He has no right to be a part of professional sports again and the NFL should have banned him for good. Now tonight we have learned a NFL team has signed him. This is SO wrong. I hope CBS as well as the NFL make a sizeable donation to Best Friends. This is were good work is being done and THESE people should be recognized NOT creeps like SICK VICK!! I'm done with Pro Football. Bring on PETA and lots of doggie bags!!

- 60 Minutes was always a news show I never missed, and always admired. This Vick "redemtion tour" being arranged by Vick's handlers, and the HSUS with "JB" being the interviewer smacks of when only Fox was allowed near Palin! Shame on 60 minutes. This is a total scam. Please read: http://www.nathanwinograd.com/?p=1789
When Wayne Pacelle, the CEO of the Humane Society of the United States embraced the most notorious animal abuser of our time as an HSUS spokesman and agreed to help him improve his image and get back into the NFL, he told us that Michael Vick was reformed and wants to be ?part of the solution.? As insincere and obscene as that rationale was, it turns out that it isn?t even part of Vick?s talking points, as he recently claimed to students that he isn?t responsible for the brutal abuse, torture, and killing of dogs.
According to ESPN,
Vick told a crowd of about 250 to ?use me as an example for your dreams.? Vick also told them that after accomplishing his goals he ?allowed someone who didn?t have my best interests at heart to take all that away from me,? according to a release from the school.
So someone else made him kill dogs:
By hanging: ?by placing a nylon cord over a 2 x 4 that was nailed to two trees located next to the big shed.?
By drowning: ?by putting the dogs? heads in a 5 gallon bucket of water.?
By beating: ?by slamming [dogs] to the ground several times ? breaking the dog?s back or neck.?
By shooting: ?by shooting the animal with a .22 caliber handgun.?
By electrocution. According to one of the people Vick paid ?to live on the property, take care of the dogs, and arrange dog fights,? ?He admitted killing numerous dogs after ?testing? and after fights by shooting and electrocuting the dogs and then burying them on the? property.?
Someone else made him kill dogs who would not fight rather than give them away even though his coconspirators wanted to give them away but ?Vick stated ?they got to go,? meaning they needed to be killed.? Someone else made him further brutalize dogs that would not initially die from hanging:
?One dog that did not die from hanging was taken down and drowned in a 5 gallon bucket of water.?
In another case, ?Vick took down one of the dogs that would not die from hanging and tossed the dog to the side. He later hung the same dog until it died. He wore overalls, which were hung in the garage, when he killed the dogs, so he would not soil his clothes.?
This is the sadist who is now an HSUS spokesman (or is it the other way around?), and who Pacelle is asking the American people to embrace as ?reformed.? This is the man Pacelle wants to go into classrooms to tell young children the lesson he has learned: That if you are caught torturing and killing animals for fun, do not take responsibility. You can do whatever you want. You can take great pleasure in watching family pets be torn to shreds. You can electrocute, hang, shoot, drown, and beat dogs to death yourself. You can lie to federal investigators. You can shift the blame to others. Because, in the end, you?ll get everything you lost back in the process?including playing in the NFL.
And HSUS, the nation?s largest animal protection group, will help you do it. - Reply to this comment
- I want to know why 60 minutes is letting "JB" as Vick calls him, be the hard hitting investigative journalist instead of a one of the regulars? Let Anderson Cooper interview Vick and then maybe I'll believe in this hoax of an interview. This just doesn't pass the sniff test, and shame on 60 Minutes. Is JB going to ask Vick if he helped put away any of his dog fighting friends? Because that was part of his plea bargain was to cooperate 100% with the Feds. Ask him why he lied over and over to Blank, and even Goodell? What about the fact that he didn't admit he helped kill his dogs with his own bare hands until he kept failing his lie detector tests, and had to admit it? Is JB goinig to ask Vick why he's sorry now? I mean what the public really wants to know is if this monster can truly even feel empathy for animals if he committed all those acts of cruelty? How come he has never even talked about the pain and suffering of the dogs, or apologised for that? All Vick has ever said is that he made a 'mistake'. Now he's saying he wasn't a 'leader'. He's never said I was just a sick and twisted up man that didn't care about the dog's suffering.
Vick's eyes are cold, dead, and black just like a shark. I don't believe anything this sociopath says. Until Vick helps bust hundreds of other dog fighting rings he knows about, testifies against those criminals, and spends every day trying to make amends for the dog killings he committed, he is just another criminal/athlete trying to use the system. Now even 60 Minutes is part of the system with the HSUS. This is nothing but the Vick Redemption Tour. Not a shred of truthfulness or integrity in any of it. - Reply to this comment
- I want this man in prison, not on the football field becoming a multi millionaire. All of those people who think he should be back on the field are sick and obviously have never loved a dog and should be ashamed of themselves. I'm not a crazed animal activist, just a person who cannot understand how he's getting away with this, and NO, the short amount of time he's spent in prison was NOT enough... nowhere near enough.

- WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! THE MAN WENT TO PRISON, HAS LOST MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?
PETA WILL EXPLOIT THIS FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. MICHAEL VICK SHOULD GET ON WITH HIS LIFE, AND IGNORE THESE IGNORANT PEOPLE. - Reply to this comment
- This "snippet" of the segment was so shallow on Vick's part. He looked and acted like he was saying what he should, not what he really felt. It was wooden and insensitive interview I've seen in a long, long time. Hey Michael, you can't go into acting and you're groveling for a chance back into the NFL. What do you think about those innocent dogs you watched drown or get raped. Screw you, butt wipe. You are a loser through and through. You just got caught this time and hopefully the next. Watch your step, we know who you REALLY are now.

- What I see in these comments are more of the same ignorant people that live in glass houses and don't want him to be rich because they can't.
