I'd like to see you fighting against the forces of global corporatism, you with your popgun, and them with their Predator drones. - Reply to this comment

Then you and George Mason can store your guns at the militia armory, and show up for maneuvers and practice once a month, in case the British invade. - Reply to this comment
- Where did you get your humor, from your fellow southern POS Ralph Limbaugh? I ask because you dont seem to have enough intelligence to come up with anything other than plagiarism, same as all of you ConDumbs. Its as though all you ConDumbs were cloned from the same inbred baby factory.

That's what they all say. Four dead policemen in Oakland the other day: think they were armed with flowers? The battle goes to the guy that shoots first. Unfortunately for you (and those policemen), thats the criminal.
Guess how most policemen fall on this question? Gee, think they're tired of being shot at? Meanwhile, in Britian, they send policemen out armed with little more than billy-clubs. Thats how backward this country is.
And, yeah, once someone uses a gun, in anger or for any other reason, they wind up in jail for life, thanks to die-hard Rambo's like yourself. America, with 20% of the worlds population, holds 75% of the worlds population of people behind bars. Violent society wreaks violence on itself. Each prisoner costs you $40,000 minimum to house. No wonder you're broke. - Reply to this comment
- Exactly! These rabid rightwads just have a need to reclassify everyone caught using a legal firearm for insane purposes, as a "criminal" or "crazed" person, thus changing the argument completely. This also goes right along with their need of revisionist history by highly-partisan means.

When you commit a crime, with a legal or illegal weapon or no weapon, the LAW reclassifies you as a criminal. Is that a difficult concept to understand? If I see someone kill other people in cold blood (as opposed to in self-defense), I'm sorry, but I think that's at least a little crazy and extremely criminal.
Please give us some examples of revisionist history, just to educate us. - Reply to this comment
- I found Philip Van Cleave's comment that we allow the young men in Iraq to use arms suggesting everyone be given the right preposterous. Those "young men" are well trained and have a deep respect of the effects of their actions good and bad. Can we say the same about everyone that is allowed to purchase guns at the shows either with or without background checks? I will concede some grew up with learning how to use them for appropriate means, such as hunting but as the system works now, we cannot be assured of this outcome in every purchase. One just has to read the news. I hope Leslie will add a comment about the training military persons receive in the world compared to an individual wanting to "protect" him or herself.

- What is being missed here, (probably intentionally) is the fact that rights are not loopholes. The definition of "arms" as in, "the right to keep & bear arms", encompasses all means of defense or battle. ALL includes bullets, kevlar vests, any semi-autos & all manner of clips or magazines. "Bear" means to have on one's person & transport from place to place. The word "infringed" as in "shall not be infringed" means enroached upon or limited in any way.

- You Republicon cowards hid in your trailers for 2 weeks following 9/11, only to come out to buy more booze and cigarettes as terrrified girly/men.. No wonder most Americans refer to you cowards as child molesters and cowards.
