So you're absolutely sure that the anonymous global citizens that Bush and Obama have indefinitely incarcerated in secret prisons without charge or representation, where they are subject to institutionalized torture and murder, are guilty of something?
My goodness.
We don't even know most of their names. We have no idea where they were abducted from. They haven't even been charged, so they certainly have no opportunity of proving they're not guilty of crimes they're not even accused of.
That's what Iran, China, and Russia do.
And it enables them to get rid of any innocent citizen, throughout the world, that they wish.
Simply because some politician doesn't like them personally, or doesn't like them exposing government misconduct, or has a financial motive or .... on and on and on.
That's why our founding fathers implemented our Constitutional rule of law, which the Democrats and Republicans have so gleefully abandoned; so these types of government atrocities could not exist in America.

- This does not have much to do with Ahmad Batebi... it's all about how Iran should be removed from the face of the earth. They are animals..... anyone who would throw a rock at a womans head, any government that would allow that....... animals. It makes me sick to think that there is a place like Iran on this earth. - This is a far-tetched piece of journalism. After reviewing the video, and listening a bit closer, Ahmad Batebi, after 9 years, suddenly began experiencing seizures, and was temporarily released for medical treatment. Wait a minute. A sadistic, torturous government like Iran, is suddenly going to temporarily release a prisoner, with six years left on his sentence, for medical treatment? While temporarily released, he acquires a cell phone. His attorney arranges for him to seek protection in the United States. He documents his escape and now is working in Washington. You have got to be kidding! Oh, by the way, how are his seizures?

- I guess that if the US can torture in guantanamo, so can the iranians, can't wait to see anderson coopers interview of tortured inmates in guantanamo to show how fair and balanced the American media really is. I wonderif the iranians have invaded 2 countries like we did and destroyed their societies. Let's make it three societies, since bush and his christians destroyed the US economy and moral values.

- what if he is an iranian plant, a sort of spy. what if he is a fraud? but more importantly, why do we think we govern the world? why do we impose our culture on other nation states? why do we impose our laws on other nation states? when was the USA made ruler of the world? we can't even solve our own problems here in the USA yet we interfere in the internal, societal or cultural, problems of other nation states. makes no sense to me. if we were perfect, it would certainly be understandable our interfering in other nation states and their societal issues.
