- I have been a Dolly fan for over 30 years and she has always been my inspiration to be a better person. Dolly you are amazing and I hope you never stop performing. Wish the whole hour was the interview with Dolly. Would love to see more of this American Treasure and Icon!

- The song I believe you refer to is "My Tennessee Mountain Home" and is from an album by the same name. I think it was released in the early 1970's.
She is one fine lady and I am proud to be from the great East Tennessee area. - Reply to this comment
- I met Dolly years ago during her "9 to 5" premiere at the Nashville Ole' Opry. I will never forget how she spent her time that evening, meeting, greeting and taking pictures with those of us that were invited to the premiere. I worked for a record company at the time and she was my favorite recording person, I was so excited to met her. I still have a picture of myself with her. I have thought often about asking her to "redo" the picture. She does not look the same, nor do I!!! But Dolly is the genuine person she appears to be and I still consider her my favorite recording person!

- Thank you so much Morley for doing this Dolly Parton interview. It was absolutely one of the most heart-warming interviews I have ever seen. I have always admired Dolly, who she is, her humble beginnings - and Morley you brought everything together so wonderfully. Thanks, again - you made my day!! Diane

- To compare Dolly to Joan Rivers is a joke. Dolly is so much more and has worked hard to get where she is today. Her u[beat attitude is an inspiration to everyone even through her bad times she stays positive. Her laugh makes me giggle. II will always be a fan of Dolly's and as for Joan Rivers she is just too annoying and not even funny.
I don't think Dolly should change one thing about herself thats who she is and I like it. Keep on doing what your doing Dolly I will always love you. - Reply to this comment
- You are missing the obvious here...Joan Rivers does not have the sweet nature of Dolly..apples & oranges. Love you, Dolly!

- Dolly Parton becoming a monstrosity? Hell no!!! . Heck, if half the people on this earth has her attitude this would be one heck of a place to live.. I see nothing wrong with her at all. She's absolutely gorgeous at any age. God bless ya, Dolly. I'll always be a huge fan... This chocolate sister thinks-no-Yes, she does- She knows you're beautiful!!!!

- "...she will become a monstrosity, like Joan Rivers."
Y'know, years ago, I actually thought Joan Rivers was kind of cute. Now she's just another plastic surgeon-created caricature like Kenny Rogers, Priscilla Presley and the Gloved One, Michael Jackson. - Reply to this comment
- willyn3 .......Dolly became famous on the Porter Wagner Show over 40 years ago. Hardly middle-aged. I was a child then and am now middle-aged myself. Her gimmick has spanned her career, so don't expect her to change now. It is what has gotten her to where she is.

- Everyone loves Dolly, and for many different reasons, but!..... she has to let go of the kewpie doll look and grow into a serious middle aged, attractive woman. What lies ahead with this approach is that she will become a monstrosity, like Joan Rivers.
