The fact that this country is made up from people all around the world is exactly what makes it great. He can try and distance himself from his Indian heritage as much as he wants -- even though it has a lot to do with how he has gotten where he is -- but his brown face kinda gives it away. I am certain that he only objects to EMBRYONIC stem cell research; however, you stated that he is opposed to all stem cell research! That would include all the successes already proved using non-Embryonic stem cells!
You must always precede the term 'stem cell research' with 'EMBRYONIC' or 'ADULT'.; Reply to this comment

Mr Safer, you should have asked him why he gutted the enforcement section of the ethics department and why he didn't confront campaign finance reform. Mr Jindal is a lightweight and doing nothing but flim-flamming the people of Louisiana. Next time , do your homework.; Reply to this comment


by diogeron March 1, 2009 8:02 PM EST: This "puff piece" was obviously done before Jindal's "I'd like to win the public speaking contest for the Boy Scouts" response to Obama's address. Moreover, as a person who has a Ph.D., it is astounding for me to hear that Jindal supports teaching "intelligent design" (creationism) and was a BIOLOGY major in undergrad school. This is like an astronomy major who thinks that astrology makes sense of that the earth is the center of the universe.

Finally, he participated as an adult in an EXORCISM. Any person who believes in demonic possession would not get my vote for city council, much less as governor or president. Is this the best that the GOP I used to respect has to offer? Moreover, what is happening to CBS and 60 Minutes. This piece was a disgrace to the legacy of a once great program.; Reply to this comment

That means he will always be Indian no matter what!! . by BRLA_Resident March 1, 2009 7:57 PM EST: Your story about our governor Bobby Jindal was nice, but you guys failed to talk about how he upset Louisiana citizens right after taking office when he said that he would not veto our legislators giving themselves a raise that would have doubled their pay. You also did not talk about how he wants to reject $100,000,000 of unemployment benefits offered to LA through the Stimulus package. You also did not ask him why he is asking FEMA to postpone LA payment to the Federal Government for their share of the expenses of Hurricane Katrina. You guys did not ask him about the lie he told when he was telling his Harry Lee story when he gave the Republican Response to the Presidents address. Why didn't you guys ask some LA citizens how they feel about our good governor these days...you can even ask many of those that voted for him...we are not happy with his performance.; Reply to this comment

I cannot understand WHY--considering the abysmal job he did responding to Obama this past week--you bothered to profile this guy! And to go on and on about how promising he was....
