She failed her general exam - I am not sure if she ever finished. She worked for the State of Louisiana. Mr. Jindal and his wife both sound like a silly school children. This has been going on for as long as the show has been on the air. Also, corruption in Louisiana does not hold a candle to that in Illinois. by tmferguson March 1, 2009 8:27 PM EST: While I am aware that Govenor Jindal is the first non-white governor of the state of Louisiana elected after reconstruction, he is not the the first non-white to hold the office. P.B.S. Pinchbach, appointed to the office, was the first non-white to serve as governor because Henry Clay Warmoth faced impeachment charges. Pichback was a Republican and served for 35 days. He also acted as lieutenant governor after the death of Oscar Dunn, the first black elected to the office of lieutenant governor in the United States.

Mr. Jindal is critical of Mr. Obama, but let's not cast stones. The piece did not mention the grass roots recall effort after our legislators voted themselves a raise, Mr. Jindal's disaster with the state medicare/mediaid program when he was in charge under Gov. Michael Foster, and the disarray of our current "charity" health system post Katrina. He was very critical of Gov. Kathleen Blanco, but benefited from the lessons learned after Hurricanes Ike and Gustav hit our state last year. He is facing criticism here in our state because of his own economic proposals to balance the budget. He is just paying lip service to buy time until can find a way to get back to Washington.; Reply to this comment

may just become President and I was right.
