Thank you CBS for airing this valuable piece of news.............we need to be educated more about the suffering of all oppressed people especially in Palestine.......Americans are sincerely ignorant only because the media makes this way and they don''t see great reporting like yours often.
Thank you so much for telling 1% of what the Palestinians go through.

This is the first time I hear this in 60 Min. I''m shocked that such an honest and accurate program about the Apartheid State of Israel has aired on American TV. Israel is in violation of dozens of UN resolutions and International Laws and the world must act to stop Israel from occupying Palestinian land. congratulations to the Bob Simon & CBS News for the Truth of occupied Palestine to the American people.

We used to look forward to watching 60 Minutes. It was a highlight years ago. What a shameful, biased masquerade of journalistic reporting this "report" is. You are fortunate that Israel is the shining Democracy that it is, to allow "journalists" such as yourselves to enter, with clear intentions to promote the radical Palestinian agenda. You are not helping the cause of peace or the suffering of people on either side whatsoever with such one-sided reporting. You are creating divisiveness between people who are desperate for common ground. No mention of what the Israelis have to contend with surrounded by terrorists who want to wipe them off the earth. 60 Minutes writers and reporter, Simons, it is clear that the Jewish State means nothing to you as you would allow it to perish. I guess we know that anti semitism takes many forms...

As a concerned Christian American born and raised in Washington DC, I am completely surprised and shocked that such an honest and accurate program about the Apartheid State of Israel has aired on American TV. Israel is in violation of dozens of UN resolutions and International Laws and the world must act to stop Israel from occupying Palestinian land. 99% of all American TV news programming is heavily biased and tilted towards the Jews and Israel, however I cannot say that is the case with this show. I would like to give a big kudo''s and congratulations to the courageous Bob Simon of CBS News for telling the story of occupied Palestine to the American people. If Americans knew what Apartheid Israel was doing to the Palestinian people, they would rise up and immediately stop all military and financial aid. Just like Apartheid South Africa in the 1990s, the artificial state of Israel will fall. The foreigner jews from Europe and America cannot be allowed to control the native Palestinian people (both Christian and Muslim). That land belongs to the natives, not the foreigners who came by force. Long Live Palestine and Long Live the courageous Palestinian people!!!

Thank you for running a very thoughtful, "Time Running Out..." The issues highlighted might provoke the viewer to ponder whether the billions the U S has invested in armaments in the East Med outweigh or drown out the words on that piece of paper, "...that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain uninalianable rights...."

Kudos to CBS News in showing us the truth, which everyone know, but never seen on our TV. One can never hide the truth. Congratulations to CBS News in taking the lead.

I tivo 60 minutes so I don''t miss the reports. I am ashamed that after 30 years of faithfully watching your program you can put on this piece so biased against Israel it is appaling. What about the thousands of rockets over the years launched into Israel - the suicide bombers detonating themselves on busses, crowded shopping areas and killing innocent Jewish victims. How about the regular diatribe by Hamas and other terrorist nations and groups wanting to see the annihilation of Israel. Do you need to be reminded that Israel is the only democratic nation in that region! You need to apologize to Israel and all the citizens here Jewish and non Jewish who support the right of Israel to exist. If no apology is forthcoming I will no longer tune in or tivo your program. Sincerely Yours, Inge Weinberg

I want to thank CBS News and 60 Minutes for airing "Time Running Out....". When the segment started I fully expected to see a piece with a pro Israel slant to it just as most mainstream American press articles and programs that deal with the Israeli Palestinian conflict are slanted. It was very refreshing to see the Palestinian side of the conflict being presented fairly and without prejudice. Thank you.

I applaud CBS and Bob Simon for this serious and honest look at Israel''s cruel and counterproductive occupation. Bob Simon''s report is a fair and balanced look at a situation that mainstream America must see if there is to be any progress towards a just resolution. The report is plain to anyone who has visited the area. I daresay the critics have not been outside the settlements.

Thank you for the outstanding video segment on what is really happening in the West Bank and Gaza. These atrocities committed by the Zionist settlers against the Palestinian landscape have been covered up for too many years by certain U.S. lobbies and media organizations. Reporters are supposed to report the facts on the ground and that is exactly what 60 Minutes did. It is time for a real peace solution in Israel/Palestine and one way to press our government for peace is by continuing to broadcast segments like 60 Minutes brought to our TV sets. Thank you.

Your program -Two State Solution? Israel/Palestine with Bob Simon on Sun 1/25 was outstanding. Finally, a commercial TV network showing the true plight of the Palestinian people - I was both shocked and ecstatic. I thank CBS and Mr.Simom for the courage show your viewers the much hidden side of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Maybe, just maybe with your willingness to show the true nature of this conflict the understanding and attitude of the American people might begin to change.

Thanks CBS and 60 Minutes for your excellent and timely 15 minute exposure on what is really is going on in this conflict where we normally see only the Israeli narrative versus the 4th most powerful army in the world (thanks to our military arms and tax $ at work) with all the power and no desire to give up any of the land they took in 1967.

Typically, American media are reporting violence that took place along the Gaza-Israel border on January 27th as, in the words of CNN, "the first incidents of violence since last week''s Mideast cease-fire," telling the public that Palestinians broke the ceasefire.

The reality, as reported by IfAmerciansKnew, however, is that Israel had already violated the cease-fire at least 7 times, the Israeli military killing 2 Palestinian civilians and injuring at least 5, at least one of them a child:

1.Israeli forces killed a Palestinian farmer in Khuza''a east of Khan Yunis on Jan 18
2. Israeli forces killed a Palestinian farmer east of Jabalia on Jan 19
3. Israeli naval gunboats shelled the Gaza coast line, causing damage to civilian structures on Jan 21
4. Israeli troops shot and injured a child east of Gaza City on Jan 22
5. Israeli gunboat fire injured 4-7 Palestinian fishermen on Jan 22
6. Israeli shelling set a Palestinian house on fire on Jan 22
7. Israeli tanks fired on the border town of Al Faraheen, causing damage to homes and farms on Jan 24

Please continue to speak trugh to power!
