- I thought the show was very good. It was very sad for me to watch. My husband lost his job from ABX in Sept. and our lives have been turned upside down. We have moved and we are losing our house. My husband is going to school and I''m still looking for work to support our family. Right now I''m still very angry about the whole thing but I''m hoping that the community will stay strong and pray that things will work out for everyone. I miss Wilmington very much and wish the best for everyone.

- AS I drove in today to the airpark I didn''t hear anybody complaining that there was 6 inches of snow and the weather was terrible and it was going to be a long day because of the weather. I also didn''t hear people saying whats the point, "I don''t have much time here and I may be the next to go." They just clocked in and went to work knowing it may not last much longer.People here do what they have to to get by. No matter what the politics, bad business desisions made or view of others from outside the situation. The people of southern Ohio area WILL SURVIVE. Why can I say that? because we always have. Talk about us all you want. I would take a central southern Ohioian over anybody else to be beside me when the chips are down anyday

- @boohooh...
Well, I feel sorry for YOU. Anyone who kicks people when they are down is a pathetic loser. Its easy to be a big mouth sitting in front of your computer. I bet your really nothing but a sniveling coward face to face. - Reply to this comment
- O.K. Billingsly......Whose responsibility is it to help your children seek an education and better prepare themselves for the rest of their life?
--------
Adults who want to go to college need to be responsible for themselves and find a way to finance their own education. There are plenty of ways to do this, including service to the country. Many of the ills of our colleges and universities would be solved if the students had to pay for the privilege of being there, instead of being sent by mommy and daddy.
Ok....Standard response......but does not , in any way, address my question. "Where is the parent responsibility/ motivation to help their children improve upon their lives?''.....Your response indicates a status quo position of: " I guess if they didn''t succeed then then didn''t really want it!"....May I recommend that you look at the bigger picture of "opportunity"? - Reply to this comment

- I work for an online store that used DHL. Our products are glass and mark clearly on the package as "Fragile". We had received numerous complaints from our customers about the condition of their merchandise when it was delivered.
Many times there was a footprint right in the middle of the box where it said "Fragile". One guy even drove a hi-lo fork through a package. You cannot treat a customer this way and expect them to stick around.
My firm was one of the ones that switched from DHL to UPS. We have not had a problem since the move.
I am sorry for the town and for the many families that will be affected. Perhaps this should be a lesson to all of us to do the very best job that we can all of the time. - Reply to this comment

- DHL sucked, they managed to LOSE two of my shipments- simply vanished, and damaged several well packed items, including one in a WOOD CRATE that was totally smashed.
I still have a claim in for the last lost package and went to the BBB with a complaint.
According to my former driver, she was a contract worker and had to supply her own van and did not get extra payments for heavier pickups or packages.
I switched to FedEx last summer, no problem yet. - Reply to this comment
