- Arnold has done such a marvelous job in California he definitely has to be considered for the Presidency.Another mindless twit regurgitating the New Environmental Catechism while the economy buckles under micro regulation and over taxation

- Arnold has become a giant pantload of rich-guilt driven, absolute non-scientific logic. As perfectly stated above, "It''s the SUN, Stupid." It''s been warming and cooling the planet for BILLIONS of years, as evidenced in the geologic record. Oceans hold 68 times more CO2 than the atmosphere. When the sun warms the ocean, CO2 is released.----The fundamental assumption that CO2 causes warming is fatally flawed--Please tell us, Brain Cell Terminator, how 38 molecules of CO2 within 100,000 molecules of atmosphere can CAUSE warming anyway? (It Cannot).
And the planet has cooled for the last ten years. Go back to making movies. Your sub-intellect perfectly fits the fantasy world of Hollywood.

- I grow tired of his daily private jet commute LA to Sacramento and his meaningless verbal exhaust, spewing CO2 that rains down on our heads. Just ALgore on steroids. More entitled thinking of the new royalty, you wont be able to have an incandescent light bulb, but the Govenator can spew CO2 in endless amounts.
2. I am republican and think the Govenator has been a disaster. He signed off on a 40% increase in spending over the past 4 years. A rate of growth that far outstrips population growth and inflation. Budgets built on sand that were nothing more than liar''s poker, fell apart quicker than a cheap suit. Now the Governator needs a new job, as it is clear he will soon become the whipping boy for Ca Bankruptcy.
3. Now to become some environmental or energy Czar! If he does for the environment or energy, what he has done for California, we are all in big trouble! Get ready to wipe with one sheet and go on a 3 hour bus commute daily!
As far as Global Warming (stick your head out the window-it is really Global Cooling) I have to borrow a phase from Bill (the impregnator) Clinton,
It''s the {Sun} stupid! - Reply to this comment

- Mr Schwarzenegger.
Have you noticed the weather lately?
We''ve been setting new record lows.
Do you listen to any scientist with brains?
Or do you only believe what Al Gore says.
Here''s some recent headlines you must have missed.
Frigid Storm Closes California Freeways, Drops Snow in Malibu
Morning commute is a crawl as snow falls on Seattle; public schools close
Storm dumps nearly a foot of new snow in Flagstaff
Snow to keep falling on Inland Northwest; 5 to 8 inches expected
Snow, cold temperatures sweep into southern Rockies
Cold weather settles in for a spell in Bay Area
Winter Blast Sets Record in Las Vegas, Sets Sights on New York
Frigid Storm Closes California Freeways, Drops Snow in Malibu
System Expected To Dump 6-12 Inches Across Chicago; Ice, Sleet To The South
Stop with the Global Warming already!

- First of all, anyone living in LA is living in an irrigated desert. And you''re surprised that it''s prone to drying and fires?
Second, to Schwarzenegger''s "flat earth" comments - there were also folks who were convinced that it was possible to build a master race by exterminating Jews, that it was possible to turn lead into gold, and that DDT was so poisionous that it had to be banned. And I could go on. That''s a line so lame and stupid that actors and Al Gore are prone to repeating it.
By the way, anyone notice that the WHO lifted the ban on spraying DDT in Africe a couple of years ago - decades after the scare had been disproven and 10''s of millions had died as a result of it''s banning? - Reply to this comment

- 52 IPCC scientists state there is global warming and 650 internationally well known scientists (with no UN agenda) state that global warming is bad science. Hmmm...

- It''s called green tech. because that''s the color of the TAXPAYERS money they want to steal in the name of research that will never work.
Not one penny of TAXPAYERS MONEY should go to these environmental charatans.
When the private sector brings forth the solution to any of our problems, we, the capitalist American system, should pay a tax free billion dollars for it. But not one penny for "research", which is just paying for failure. Polio is the last medical problem cured, and as soon as the government started handing out failure (research) money, we stopped curing anything. Now they try to "manage" disease while they do year after year of failure (research) on the governments dime.
Let the private sector find the cures.Pull all government research money, and watch how fast they start to cure or develop things. - Reply to this comment
Arnold is right on the environment.

- It is the environmentalists fault that there are such devastating fires. They sued to keep from removing the brush and old growth, which is better known as kindling. You are not allowed to clears the forest debris from around your house because of some stupid mouse. Of course fires will get worse if you surround your house with dry kindling!
But no, it''s Bushes fault.
Radical, ignorant, anti-human environmentalists are to blame. If my house burned I would sue the sierra club and all those that fought to keep from cleaning out the old growth and brush. - Reply to this comment
- Arnold is right about the environment. The time is NOW to do something it...not later.

- We elected Schwarzenegger to clean up the huge mess Gray Davis and the Democrats made when they got drunk on the dot com tax revenue. Arnold wimped out on his spending reform initiatives at the first sign of opposition from the unions. He barely even campaigned for them in his special election. Now he does his Rodney King "can''t we all just get along?" act instead of trying to roll back spending--which has increased 45% in the last five years. He is the worst governor we''ve ever had--with the largest ego. Thank god he is ineligible to run for president.
