Dear Mr. Croft and CBS News:
Thank you for your great coverage of the new first family. However I think Bob Eubanks has beat you to the punch! Are you kidding, Barack and Michelle on the Newlywed Game, thank you GERALDO RIVERA.

How extraordinary! President-elect and Mrs. Obama demonstrate poise, decency, articulateness intelligence and wit that shows just how bleak and barren the past eight years have been. The darkness of that cold long night is about to break into the dawn of a beautiful new day - for the United States AND the world. My sincerest and heartfelt wishes to them both, their two beautiful daughters and the future First Puppy.

The interview with the Obamas was refreshing. I could listen to them speak all day. There is a lot to learn from the both of them. They are both so gracious and down to earth. It shows the type of people that raised them. They have the same concerns as any couple with small children in this world. They just want their kids to have an education without all the turmoil that surrounds the world today.

I thought that it was quite comical he felt that being the new President would interfere with the walks that he likes to take. :-) Very nice interview and I look forward to hearing more like that one.

amaleksouth, that''s not really Billy Graham''s prayer. He had nothing to do with it. You should check Snopes.com:

That was delivered the Bob Russell at the Kentucky Governor''s Prayer Breakfast in 1995. An e-mail falsely attributed it to Paul Harvey (Paul Harvey''s Prayer) but he didn''t write it either.

Gafmurph: People have always been interested in the personal side of politicians, i.e., their leaders live. Remember kennedy, Princess Dianah, etc. Yes the people are interested.... people feel involved, once again.... even down to the new puppy, check the stats... more blogs left on web page that any other subject. After all said and done... we are just people. And yes, people like the idealism of the American Dream.... remember that''s why Columbus sailed over here from Europe.

How refreshing to hear our soon to be President answer questions respectfully, intellectually and with humility. Our country deserves the quality of this man and I for one am delighted that there will be a young, happy, well-rounded family in our White House. And, as for our soon to be First Lady? She''s an inspiration and a role model for all mothers whether they be stay-at-home or working outside the home. Her number one priority is her family. Our country is blessed.

It was a womderful and inspiring interview. Pres Elect and First Lady are gracious, humble and bright with a wonderful family life for many of us to emulate.
So blogger rgbitner, be more polite and develop some etiquette yourself it seems as if you have lost track. Thanks cbs for a wonderful interview, it could have been longer.

It was so refreshing to listen to the Obama''s on 60 Minutes tonight. To have a President who is intelligent and yet very humble at the same time. Michelle and Barack are very "grounded" people and I just hope and pray for the best for them and their daughters as they go about meeting the challenges, both personal and professional facing them.

I''m sorry but tonights interview with the new president elect was an absolute disgrace in my opinion. As an illegal emigrant if I had a vote I would most definately voted for Obama. But in all honesty after watching tonights episode of 60 minutes are you kidding.I mean who the hell wants to hear about Michelle tucking in kids or kids running across the oval room? The next thing we''ll see is Supernanny arriving at the white house to sort out the Obama household.
Whoever decided that Steve should interview the new leader of free world{I''m sure Steve was reluctant to do the interview after seeing the nonsensical prittle prattle questions he was obviously embrassed to ask} is an idiot who can only see the new tentant of the white house as a way on to capitalise on a new reality show and not the actual issues like RUNNING THE COUNTRY.

Even Obama at one stage thought the questions were getting a little odd after comparing his mother-in-law to a new dog. Who writes this BS? CBS are lucky that their sponsors after tonights show shouldn''t cut the show to 60 seconds due to the amount of time we the people had to listen to that ***.

Thanks for wasting 60 minutes.

60 Minutes you have outdone your selves. What a wonderful show tonight November 16, 2008. It does not matter who I voted for but who our countries new leader is and his vision. His vision I listend to. The first lady, Knees or ankles crossed, that was not the message I got tonight, but leadership from both, both projection our United States back into the fore front, of the world as a nation working together. I wish I was as educated as our new couple, but I was so moved by tonight''s show I just had to blog something to say thanks to CBS for a wonderful show and how I wish I could be one of the million''s of people to be there on January 20, 2009 to witness our country entering the 21st century. Thanks CBS. I will watch the coverage on CBS!. Again a great tear moving show on 60 minutes. Oh for thoes who read this, yes men do have tears when great people say great things.

Billy Graham''''s Prayer For Our Nation

THIS MAN SURE HAS A GOOD VIEW OF WHAT''''S HAPPENING TO OUR COUNTRY!

''''Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, ''''Woe to those who call evil good,'''' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor''''s possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free. Amen!''''

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, ''''The Rest of the Story,'''' and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. With the Lord''''s help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called ''''One nation under God.''''
