And then, there''s the matter of the "college service" program. In it''s latest itteration calls for paying students $4000 for 100 hrs of community service at a cost of 32 billion a year just for the payouts. Add the cost of the huge administrative machine that will go with it. Still more tax burden on the middle class.

Why hasn''t anyone (anywhere) commented on the fact that Howard Dean is the person that pushed the 50 state plan from the time that he became the head of the DNC? Barack Obama and his team did a great job of implementing it, but it was Howard Dean that originated the idea.

jmccrea2662,

You need to replace the "we" with "you."

Its unbelievable how much people are in love with obama over a simple speech on "change" which he reads off a teleprompter. We dont even really know who he is.

What - you had a better option to offer?? I think not.

at least we know who McCain is/was. All we have now is unanswered questions of past associations with radicals on the fringe of american society and votes of "present" in the senate.

On ACORN - It simply does not make a bit of differnce if ACORN falsified the registrations. It was the voters who counted. Also, the vote count for Obama was so huge, you could have thrown away all votes disputed and Obama would still have won the popular and electoral votes.

There is one amusing truth about Obama. The man can eat 10,000 calories in one day and not gain one ounce. The volunteer staff learned the hard way that if he visited an office and spied a pizza/doughnut box with goodies still in it, that box would dissapear into his limo with him.

The people who believed & worked for the Obama Presidency are nothing but heroes - what democracy is all about. Keep the faith, the rewards are widespread!

getting votes from cartoon characters.

This is an ignorant statement. There is absolutely NO evidence that this happened even once!

The point I was trying to make was the total votes for barrack is inaccurate because of acorn.
I will spell it out the next time....

He could not get votes from cartoon characters, they review the registration and that is how they found these fake registration. I don''t know about you but when I voted I had to sign beside my name,do you really think they had someone signing Mickey Mouse

Obama wants to share the wealth.. Yet he did not share his champaign donations with McCain and the other presidential candidates? What''''s up with that.. Share the wealth s long as it isn''''t his wealth.. Bah ha ha ha.. More to come..

Posted by libsh8theUSA

That whole ''share the wealth'' thing is blown all out of proportion, and was used to portray Obama as some kind of Socialist! He wants to repeal the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% ! Our tax system does ''spread the wealth around'' , that happens to be how it works! Those with the most income pay more, and the benefits are shared by everyone. The only difference between McCain and Obama on this is a 4% higher tax rate for those who make over $250,000 per year!

On top of that, you find fault with the fact the Obama was able to raise more money than McCain! Maybe Republicans are just too d-amn cheap to donate to their candidate!! LOL

There was a problem with employees of Acorn doing fake registration so the can make up their quota. Tha''s voter registration fraud not voter fraud. Obama won fairly and convincingly so get over it

Or you could just get off that subject since the vote totals so far exceeded anything Acorn could have delivered even if it was engaged in voter fraud that it''s irrelevant.

Or you could get off the subject becuase voter registration fraud is not the same as voter fraud so like Libra was trying to point out, no one named Mickey Mouse voted even if they were registered by Acorn.

Or you could be balanced and observe that there were just as many voter suppression issues on behalf of the Republicans as there were voter registration issues with Acorn (I mean, really, democrats vote on Wed. in Virginia?)

There are a lot of "mr22587"s out there, racist in the extreme until they are on their death beds needing a blood transfusion (invented by a Black man by the way) or a Body Part to save their racist lives and then the racist don''t care where the life saving blood or body part comes from and won''t say things like if its from a "Black" I don''t want the blood or body part, you will never hear those words trust me, pure hypocrites I say.

Everyone thought race would be an issue, but it wasn''t. Barack even overcame negative publicity about Rev. Wright. This campaign was brilliant and it was a huge grassroots organization. The people spoke and we can do anything.

The color of the president and his cabinet is irrelevant.

As soon as everyone realizes that, we can start to repair the damage caused by the republicans.

Posted by IwasHungry68

Well Said! The discussion about race is antithetical to what Obama wants for this country which is forward progress for all. I am leery of those who keep bringing race up; it only divides us again.

You really are a obama supporter, always hoping ill will towards other who don''''t shared your view.
I guess the "brilliant" part you referring to are the amount of money "raised" from questionable sources and getting votes from cartoon characters. Even the mobs are envious at how obama runs his racket.
How long it takes you to talked to all of the voters to see if they''''re there to vote for "someone else"?
barrack and his supporters really hope that people heads are in the sand. The reason is fairly obvious.

Did you READ my post? I didn''t wish ill will to anyone. I challenged your post as thoughtless because, well, IT WAS.

There has been plenty of statistical analysis done about what causes voter turnout and conclusions have been drawn about what will or will not cause a person to get out and vote. Why do you think campaign''s care about eth difference between likely and registered voters? So, as I said, you can blah blah blah on and ignore what there is to be learned, and continue to take personal potshots, but it gets neither you nor the candidates you support any further down the road in 2012 and that''s just fine with me.
