- Unbelievable!! I am simply astounded at how gullible you are! Do you really believe that this was the real reason behind the reduction in violence? How do you explain the fact that over 2 million people are internal refugees and an estimated 2.4 million are external refugees? The main reason for the reduction in violence in all of Iraq is that the US has overseen, supported and encouraged ethnic and religious cleansing. Find one single neighborhood where all three main ethnic groups are still living in a fully integrated community. This situation has been suplemented by direct payments to targeted groups who perpetuate this separation and division. Why don''t you investigate this situation??

- I believe everything my Government AND the military tells me!...Gosh... Aren''t the SOMETHING? (drain of the federal budget, American Peace Keepers in the US of A, anyone remember the $1,000 TOILETS?....) GOSH! THEY''RE AWESOME....and get greeted as liberators where ever they show up! HEY PENTAGON... PAY ME THOUSANDS to PATROL MY STREETS and you''ll see a reduction of violences here too! But gosh, since I''m not a lobbyist or contractor... guess I''m just out of luck on that one... AS USUAL!

- A prime example of how the US is creating a totalitarian world to make it impossible to fight for freedom. Or so it hopes - and the corporate media is cheering right along. But fortunately - 1000-year Reichs have a way of turning into yesterday''s meatloaf.

- @Nancy_Naive Nicely said.
Still at the same time hats off to the smart guys who have done the analytical thinking of the problem at hand so nicely. - Reply to this comment
- Congratulations Ms. Sthal for reaching new lows in CBS journalism. Your Pentagon propaganda
piece, %u201CHow Technology Helped Win Sadr City Battle", would make the Fox news organization
envious but proud. I did notice your difficulty in hiding your enthusiasm
and approval as the plan of action was being explained to you by our brave
generals and as the Iraqi "bad guys" were being blown to piece by a drone in real-time.
BY the way, had you bothered to do some simple research you would have found out that
it was in fact the Iranian government who had advised Sadr to stop fighting and not
the "decisive" drones as was suggested by the war-criminal Hort. DO YOUR JOB RIGHT!

- Thank you for the report on the battle of Sadr City. I can''t remember the last time I saw anything positive about what is happening in Iraq. I know there is positive change-I hear it from the soldiers who have been there. Please keep up the good reporting.
