- Notice how CBS state Obama and Biden as the NEW team? They want to take the Glory away from Mccain and Palin.

- Obama has been under the public microscope for the past four years, if everything you''''''''ve heard is "laughable" then I hardly think I should waste my time on you.
McCain and his beauty queen general will not get my vote.

I didn''t ask is he has been vetted, I asked for his list of accomplishments. I should have said that I have also heard a lot of deflection when the question is asked, much like your response. I honestly have been looking for a real answer to this question. So "mommy", please humor me with an answer. You seem so well versed in his back ground, it should be like falling off a log. - Reply to this comment
- Obama''s choice was a no brainer. He had to pick someone to offset is clear lack of experience for the job (143 days in the Senate just doesn''t cut it). So he picked an icon of the entrenched political establishment he seeks to Change to be his running mate. Now he could have done the obvious and picked Hillary, but she is a woman and as you can tell from the blogs of his followers, his campaign still adheres to the belief espoused by the 60''s radicals (like his Weatherman pal, Bill Ayers), that the proper position for women in politics is "on their backs". If someone had made a similar comment about Obama he would have called his own remarks "patronizing" and would have charged himself as having made racist remarks. Does that qualify as characterizing what he said as "sexist"?
No matter. Althouogh Sarah Palin is only running for VP, she clearly outclasses Obama on almost every dimension. - Reply to this comment
- Obama: A classic, if unusually talented, greasy-pole climber. Held a succession of jobs that constitute the standard route to the top in his party''s internal politics: "community organizer", law professor, state senator.
Palin:A woman with a wide range of interests in a well-variegated life. Held a succession of jobs - sports journalist, commercial fisherwoman, state oil and gas commissioner, before entering local politics. A resume that suggests something other than burning political ambition from the cradle but rather the sort of experience that enables her to understand the concerns of most Americans.. - Reply to this comment

- notelatu, your liberal civics teacher really wasted your parent''s money. Research before you comment. Obama''s federal experience is limtied to 173 days of campaigning for president. He is repsonsible for a staff of 23. Ms. Palin has executive authority. She is reponsible for 100 fold staff members. Please let me know 1 decision that Obama has made including his 285 present votes in the state Senate. Obama doesn''t even have the guts to vote NO. Also, if you look at a map, Alaska is a breath away from Russia.
PS - Palin requested the inquiry. LOOK IT UP, IT"S THE FACTS. CAREFUL WITH THE PIED PIPER YOU ARE INFACTUATED WITH, HE WILL LEAD YOU OVER THE CLIFF. - Reply to this comment
- "up and coming public servant" ... which is PRECISELY all YOU are, Obama, but she isn''t running for president. She obviously is not not in love with herself an completely delusional about her skills and experience as you are. You should be running for mayor or MAYBE governor, not president.

- How thankful the Repubs must be. No Bush or Chaney at the convention to remind everyone of the last eight years. I''m sure Chaney wouldn''t have been there anyway--No Repub can get enough distance between Chaney and the Re-pubic party.
