Obama has just as much pre-presidential experience as Abraham Lincoln.

Average life expectancy dictates that McCain will be dead before the end of his first term. McCain thinks this woman can be the head of the United States, including our military and nuclear weapons.

He''''s probably a nice guy but I would never vote for that kind of leadership.

PS: I didn''''t even mention that she is currently under federal investigation.

Sarah Palin has more experience than Obama and Lincoln put together, so I don''t understand your point here at all. Your reasoning is apparently flawd.

If McCain dies, we have a person in office with the same experience that Barak Obama and Lincoln had put togther. Your reasoning here is also flawed.

Again, your reasoning is flawed. Whether Sarah Palin or Barak Obama has their hand on nuclear weapons...Sarah Palin has more experience than Obama...

So what EXACTLY is your problem?

Obama''''s federal and state experience is MORE than NINE YEARS LONGER than this woman''''s TOTAL experience in ONLY *state* government. She has NOT ONE day of federal government experience. She has ZERO foreign policy experience. She just got her travel visa LAST YEAR. Obama has just as much pre-presidential experience as Abraham Lincoln.

How much federal government experience did Bill Clinton have? Ronald Reagan?

Experience, as you are defining it (years of service), is not a good gauge of readiness for POTUS. Acomplishments on the other hand are. Can you name one accomplishment Barack Obama has had in all his many years of experience? Many people have been asked this question. I am yet to hear an answer yet that is not laughable.

Fourth, I don''''t understand how screaming about Romney, Huckabee, etc. is refuting anything I stated. I asked to correct anything I was "lying" about, *anything*. What do I get from you? Phychotic episodes.

Why are Republicans so angry?

He released a few pages to a select few members of the media for a matter of two hours, no cameras, recording devices, pen and paper, nothing, was allowed. Better yet, what about his Military record.

But the most ridiculous arguments relate to her ability to deal with foreign affairs. In the first place, as the Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard, as the mother of a son who is about to be deployed to Iraq, and as the Governor of a state that deals with Russia and Canada regularly on border issues, the Republican No. 2 has far more executive and foreign policy experience than the Democrats No. 1, Sen. Obama.

But more importantly, we heard talk about a host of Governors -- Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty and Charlie Crist -- as potential vice presidents. All are or were state governors, and none of them has any more experience in foreign policy than Sarah Palin, but that issue was never even raised during speculation about those candidates. And had one of them been selected, no one would be asking those questions now. Why? Because they are seen as competent, in-control chief executives of states who would bring balance to a ticket that has a foreign policy expert in Sen. McCain at the top of the ticket.

It is difficult to escape this painful conclusion -- the ONLY reason people are raising questions about Sarah Palin''s ability to be Commander in Chief when they didn''t raise those questions about other governors considered for Vice President is because ... (gasp) ... she is a woman.

There are so many problems with the McCain/Palin ticket. He had only met her ONCE. She has little political experience (unless you count her years as a cheerleader and beauty queen)No national profile, She only has the heartbeat of a 79 year old guy between her and the presidency. She wont make any contrabutions to the McCain administration (what, you think McCain is going to take her advice on anything?) She shows a total lack of judgement by accepting McCain''s offer to be VP when she has a young baby at home and a 17 year old unwed pregnant daughter living at home who is going to have her "condition" splashed across the national news. Not only is she not a fit VP choice, she is not even a fit mother.

4. Nobody is privy to his medical records.

THIS IS PATENTLY UNTRUE

5. The McCain camp is just now sending a team to Alaska to begin vetting her.

ACTUALLY, SHE''''S BEEN MENTIONED AS A VP CANDIDATE SINCE MARCH, SO I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT THE VETTING PROCESS HAS JUST BEGUN

The talk of women being insulted by McCain''s pick is ludicrous.

All the women I know are thankful to McCain. Obama is the one who insulted them.

They know Obama had the option of choosing Hillary for VP which would have been the wise thing to do since she is more qualified than all the others, including him, combined, and is the winner of the People''s Votes.

McCain did not have the option of choosing Hillary.

But, he still did the right thing by putting his trust and confidence in a woman, a very accomplished woman.

We all know Gov. Palin doesn''t compare to Hillary, but Obama and Biden don''t either.

So, BO, you blew it. McCain-Palin will win this one. Then it''s HILLARY-ANYBODY 2012.

While the Committee has some evidence suggesting the possibility a POW may have survived to the present, and while some information remains yet to be investigated, there is, at this time, no compelling evidence that proves that any American remains alive in captivity in Southeast Asia.

Posted by jgg000 at 03:57 PM : Sep 01, 2008

Why yes, that is the one. Notice the part about some information not yet being investigated? Continue researching. Especially where McCain caused the sister of one POW to break down in tears and call her a liar. Or maybe the one where he shoved a woman in a wheelchair.
