We all share the same troops.
Why? Because our troops give you and every other American citizen some sense of safety, security, and stability toward equal protection in an uncertain world. This creates a comfortable freedom effect to allow you and me to support whatever political party or issue we choose in hometown USA without fear of reprisal.
Enjoy your right to express your personal views or concerns publicly, but channel your pro or con energies in the right direction.
Wars come and go. Conflicts come and go. Political parties take turns in office.
Our troops must stand fast and put aside their own views to do a job they have sworn to carry out for the nation as a whole every time their government calls them to action.
Please exercise you rights in our imperfect country.
Don%u2019t like the U.S. then turn in your passport and move to the country of your choice; you have the freedom to do that if so inclined.
United States military professionals defend our country 24/7 in sun or rain, hot or cold against all enemies foreign or domestic based on orders from senior political leaders.
Have a ***, gripe, or complaint; write your elected official.
Have a compliment; thank a military man or woman.
Thank them publicly and privately for serving our country the same through thick and thin regardless of who is in elected political power. - Reply to this comment

- I am very proud of the Green Berets that fought with Vaylor and all solders they risk there lives plus some died for the American people but what is so terrible they risked there lives for people Like (JOYOUS 88) Coward like him would go Awol before they would even think about fighting . He is sick I was in Vietnam and there were lot of people that though like him. AS for as Gates saying about the Air Force If it is True He said it the wrong way Lot of the Air Force are doing there job. Gates shoule be called down for this.

- The SECDEF stated the Air Force was not doing enough in the war effort. He happens to be right, his statement is not a hit on our troops, and the war in Afghanistan is not "illegal" nor "unjust" and never was.
