LIBS just hate stories of bravery and heroism from our troops. They have their political fortunes tied to U.S. military failure. Sad really, that LIB Americans can cheer for U.S. failure.

RE: Green Berets Recount Deadly Taliban Ambush

This report is far from journalism and 60 Minutes should be ashamed to engage the services of the smarmy Lara Logan, with her cocktail dress and manipulative questions, full of leading adjectives. She has always impressed me as self-aggrandizing and this report was confirmation-- this is a dandy story to report heroism in a clean, bloodless studio setting. She was able to stage an emotional story two years after the events occurred. This was propaganda and theatre, not NEWS. Apparently Lara is on *** Cheney''s payroll. Why not send her over to Fox where she''d fit in better?

From what I got out of the report was that the surge in Iraq took away from the progress made in Afghanistan. The Taliban is evolving and is by no means defeated. I don;t think we can fully win both of these wars. It may come down to one or the other, otherwise both may become lost.

Did you ever really think about it?

In the Muslim heaven you get 72 virgins, I like that;

In the Christian heaven you get eternal happiness,

forever, as long as you continue to worship some old

guy with a beard and majic power;

I like the sounds of their heaven a lot more, the

christian heaven sounds like some sort of gay pride

parade

Surrender is not an option. Hussein Obama stands for racism, class warfare and LIB elitism. NOT MY PRESIDENT.

So, if we have the best soldiers, the best equipment, and spend the most money. Why is it that we can''t win a war in some tiny country that has no standing army, no aircraft, no artillery, no manufacturing base? I doubt it''s the grunt on the ground, one should look up the chain of command until you find incompetence.

I have never supported the war in Iraq or Bush''s invasion of Iraq2. Supporting the troops is an entirely different matter.I rspect the troops as they do what a soldier must, follow orders.

This group of men accomplished a very complicated mission with heroism and valor. To add to that heroism I think another group of Green Berets went into that area and cleaned out the Taliban in a huge operation? The closing notes at the bottom said that the area was still under Taliban control but it is on the internet about Sperwan Ghar as being taken by Green Berets and helping the Canadian Task Force?

The Army''s Green Berets are the finest men and the bravest soliders the US has. Everyone needs to SUPPORT them,(along with all the other military members)and pray for them to ALWAYS stay safe, and return home. SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
