You are corect. Religion and politics has caused every war in history. What is the solution. Assanitate the pope and all religious leaders ? I DON''T THINK THAT WOULD BE THE ANSWER. i LIKE THE BUDHIST PHYLOSOPHY, LIVE IN HARMONY WITH ALL THINGS. pRETTY RADICAL GOING FROM A TRAINED KILLER TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN''T WANT TO KILL ANYTHING. - Reply to this comment
- Huge,,, I''d support an old fashioned Tar & Feathering & putting him & his supporters in a dungon under 3 miles of concrete

In this case if she got orders to assinate the president, i would be there to help her. Bush is the biggest problem this country has ever had. If we stop staerting needless wars all over the world we will have a lot less enemies. - Reply to this comment

- ranger1948,,,, Make no doubt about it religion shapes our views on issues, Calvinism of France, Arminianism of the Dutch & the Protestant Reformers of Luke from Germany & all violently fought each other. Which is how most of our denominations came about from the 16th century.

I was a ranger in nam. I get upset when someone disparages our country or my poatriotism. Just ask jwhitman, but eve though we agree we now talk to one another in a respectful manner and still disagree on certain issues. If you treat me with respect i will treat you with respect. My daughter is a soldier. She volunteered to go to Iraq so she could serve with the unit she trained with. I have to respect her decision. She knows i do not believe in the war in Iraq and neither does she. But as a soldier she will follow orders as she was trained to do. I have to respct that. - Reply to this comment

I don''t think religion enters into the picture with the problems in America. Religion gets blamed for enough. I respect all religions b ut believe in separation of religion and govt. Religion will not pull us out of this mess Bush has created. We need a leader who will lead the country as one great nation and address the problems abroad and at home. - Reply to this comment

I AM A PATRIOTIC aMERICAN. iF YOU ARE NIOT PART OF THE SOLUTION THEN YOU MUST BE PART OF THE PROBLEM. i DON''T HAVE THE ANSWERS TO SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS BUT I AM WILLING TO WORK TO FIND THEM. yOU MAKE SOME GOOD POINTS. aMERICA HAS LOST MUCH RESPECT THRUOUT THE WORLD BECAUSE OF HOW BUSH HAS RAN THE COUTRY FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS. - Reply to this comment

How would you know if balls are a requirement for being a giood person since you have never had any. You talk against wars but neither you o hugecock have ever been in a war so you have no idea what you are talking about. I already stated where i stand on Iraq and our govt. - Reply to this comment
- jamieg,,,, There are Wars of Necessity like Afhaganistan & Wars of Choice & Agression as Iraq is.
- Problem is republicans can''t distinguish between the two, or realize we never fought Wars of Agression, we fought against them. - Reply to this comment

If you had read my previous comments you would see i do not support the war in Iraq. I do not support bush and his regime. I am an independent as i will not vote for a party. I look at the candidates to see which i think has the most to offer. This time as last election we have a very poor choice. I think we should bring our troops home, quit starting wars all over the world.stop trying to be the world police, stop giving out foreign aid and take care of our own people and our own problems at home. - Reply to this comment
- Hmm, 600 billion spent on war without profit.I''m assuming if that money was put toward even simple projects such as tax relief or educational upgrades over the long term it would provide stability to American families instead international shame and homeland hardships.
