Katie and CBS News,
I am a 54 year old women who is embarrassed for the display of gender bias on 60 minutes. Katie''s interview with Hillary Clinton was a disgrace to women and men alike! Katie you were interviewing possibly the next President of the United States and at the very least a Senator, asking questions one might ask Miss America! Tell us, What drove such riveting questions like "Tell me, Do you Drink alot of coffee to keep going? Deep down do you have doubts?
And just for one lets remind Hillary ONE MORE TIME that she voted for the war and ONE MORE TIME she can rewspond that at the time with the information she had it was the best decesion.........Katie , Where have you been? It''s time to sharpen those interview skills, Hillary is running for President, she is not walking down the "Red Carpet"! Obama was asked about the issues, Hillary was not! Katie and CBS news owe Hillary Clinton an apology and they owe their audience an apology !
Thank you
Christine Flynn-Weirich

Holy Cow... What is 60 minutes thinking by having Katie Curic interview people. I felt so bad for the poor reporting by Curic - I wanted to support Clinton. Hasn''t Katie ruined enough of your network news? Great interview Steve!

It''''s obvious that "user 168" is also using a second name (see how easy it is to spot). The multiple hate-filled posts only inspire support for Senator Clinton. I know he (or she) has helped me make up my mind.

If you base your selection on the anger of others, as opposed the the candidate''s merits, you''re as big of an airhead as Couric.

Shameful! It is no wonder that Katie Couric is dead last among the network anchors on TV. In theory she was interviewing Senator Clinton. But Katie could not muster any productive, relevant questions for the first serious woman Presidential candidate. Instead she focused on Obama. We already heard Steve Croft fawn all over him. Katie''s atttempts to mask condescending and pro-Obama questions would not even pass Journalism 101. In contrast to the intelligent, articulate and classy Senator Clinton, Katie came off as uninformed, biased and ill-prepared. CBS made a huge mistake putting Katie on this piece. Questions she should have asked should center around this superb candidate''s vision and the contituents she seeks to inspire. I would have liked to hear Senator Clinton answer, "What would you say to a parent who wants to encourage a daughter to aspire to be the best she can be, including being President of the United States or Chief Justice of the Supreme Court?"

I could not believe Katie Couric''s treatment of Senator Clinton -- beginning by insisting she''s too exhausted and ending with the Miss Refrigetor comment, she was insulting from beginning to end. This, following the program''s "love fest" feature with Senator Obama.

The Katie Couric interview of Sen. Clinton should be an embarrassment to 60 minutes. It sounded like sit-com classic female chatter. I hope the stupid questions were a result of the writers strike, but Katie, if you wrote them you should be fired. Don''t the editors check your work? I''m surprised that Hillary let it slide. I''m an Obama voter, so maybe it''s for the best................I''m just glad that Steve interviewed Barack.

It takes wisdom, compassion, and courage to oppose the Iraq War. It also takes wisdom, compassion, and courage to run a country! America wants nothing less.

"... But we ought not %u2014 we will not %u2014 travel down that hellish path blindly. Nor should we allow those who would march off and pay the ultimate sacrifice, who would prove the full measure of devotion with their blood, to make such an awful sacrifice in vain." ~Obama

"The enlightened ruler is heedful, and the good general full of caution."

"Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys; look on them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death."

%u201CHe who exercises government by means of his virtue may be compared to the north polar star, which keeps its place and all the stars turn towards it."

"Hold faithfulness and sincerity as your first principles."
"Kindness in thinking creates profoundness."
"From caring comes courage."

Perhaps they''ll listen now..."

If you carry yourself with wisdom, compassion, and courage like Obama, you will be respected, admired, and loved everywhere you go.

%u201CGood actions give strength to ourselves and inspire good actions in others.%u201D

The problem with Hillary is that she has no wisdom, compassion, and (moral) courage, period.

Here I have a message for Hillary-the-dirty-trick: Do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you. What goes around comes around.

Why do you, Hillary, constantly want to remind us that you and us women are women? Do you really think all women are two-year-old-don%u2019t-knows? Do you think all women are unhappy souls (like you) that they have to fight (for you)? What are you fighting for, Hillary? What is not enough of you, Hillary? One vote for the Iraq War isn''t enough? Why create more fight and war to divide our country? Honestly, to me, Hillary, you are so confused (or calculating) that on one hand you want all the women sympathy-votes, but on the other hand you are a real women hater who wants to destroy women by destroying their mind, heart, and soul.

God help those who help themselves. Demand (respect) not from others but from yourself. Hillary, be truthful! When there are not thousands, but hundreds of thousands that "hate" you, there must be a reason.

I have never come across one with wisdom, kindness, and courage being "hated", not to mention by so many.

Our nation''s youth is smarter than you Hillary can imagine!

Great news! I have found THE solution to the Clinton/Obama dilemma that''s been plaguing the Democrats, and here it is: Vote for the person you prefer.

See? Wasn''''t that easy? Now move along people.

Even as a diehard supporter of Barack Obama, I was completely disgusted with Katie Couric''s light-weight interview of Hillary Clinton on Sunday night. As juxtoposed to the in depth interview undertaken by Steve Kroft, Couric''s interview stands as a shining example of sexism. Whereas Obama was questioned on a full range of worthy, challenging issues and allowed to fully explain his positions, Katie seemed to be channeling her Today Show-self repeatedly asking the same superficial, tabloid-type questions as if she had unilaterally determined that Hillary was doomed to lose the democratic nomination. The most elucidating response that Hillary was allowed to give during the entire interview was that she eats chilis to stay healthy! Couric must also be an Obama fan.

Whether this simply reflects Couric''s poor skills as a journalist, underscored by her missed opportunity to engage someone who could be our next president or actually intended to sabotage Clinton, CBS should be embarrassed to allow such an interview to take place, let alone to actually air it. I''m quite sure that like me and millions of others, Hillary Clinton had much higher expectations of the integrity and professionalism of 60 minutes. Sadly, the only qualifications that were called into question on gender during this interview reflected on journalism, not the presidency.

Hillary has no wisdom, no compassion, and no moral courage, but she and Bill will do whatever it takes at all cost to get what they want. She is a very scary person!

I was angry and disappointed in the Couric interview. Her comments about sitting in the front row and "refrigerator" were an example of poor taste and tasteless. Please confine Ms. Couric to fluff pieces and have her apologize to Mrs. Clinton and every other female she insulted.

The Democratic primary is a choice of two good resumes. I support Hillary Clinton because of her experience, her increasing trend of success with legislation as a Senator, her family and community orientation, her knowledge of issue specifics, and her best-in-class health care plan. Hillary Clinton has the personal grit to survive the Republican onslaught. She went into a Republican senatorial district in New York, won her Senate seat, and 6 years later, won it again with 70% of the vote, largely on a track record of success in the Senate. If we are smart, and we elect a Clinton / Obama team this cycle, the Democrats stand a good chance of holding the Presidency for the next 16 years.

When I saw the number of voters who decided all the states Saturday and Sunday, excepting Louisiana which had a primary dominated by black voters, it became clear to me that the participation in the caucuses was very low...on that basis, I do not feel that Obama has run away with this election. Hillary is still ahead in delegates and stands a good chance of carrying the nomination. Certainly, I feel that Hillary stands a much better chance of beating McCain than Obama. Obama is too inexperienced and let''s face it, has the racial issue dogging him in a general election. Yes, Hillary has the gender issue and fulminating Republicans who hate her but these people would never vote for either her or Obama. Plus, the red states Obama carried will vote for McCain anyway. Hillary has experience on her side, a very popular ex-president spouse (and that fact is a positive regardless of what the media has tried to paint), and a truly enthusiastic following. She''s still in there and is going to prevail!!!

Katie Couric is a disgrace, and despite all that, Clinton answered all her interview questions with aplomb. Sure, ask Clinton a bunch of biased, leading, implicating questions, and then ask her if she thinks the media has been tougher on her than Obama. Shame on you Katie Couric.

saep

Wow! So women should vote for women and men should vote for men, how absolutely naive. I had hoped that
Americans are not as shallow as that. And, that does not reflect intelligently on Madeleine Albright either, Wow! That statement came from a Stateswoman.
I''m glad she is gone.

Do you really want four more years of the Clinton twins?

I don''t.

And yes, just where does all the experience Hillary claim to have come from?
A shyster lawyer in Arkansas linked to scandals there.
First Lady for eight years, DUH!, she did not sit in on any national or international meetings.
A Senator from New York, gee, and she bought that one.
And yes, she also received major donations from indicted Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu that she had to return.
Ladies, please don ''t vote for Hillary simply because she is a woman. That would be the worst, simple, and most naive of reasons to vote for her.
Incidentally, I am a male, white, 72 year old veteran, who voted for more women than men to hold my state''s political offices.

Wow! May this country be saved from the likes of the unenlightened saep.

KATIE COURIC, SHAME ON YOU! THE INTERVIEW YOU CONDUCTED ON 60 MINUTES WITH SENATOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON WAS MORE LIKE WATCHING A SCENE FROM THE MOVIE "MEAN GIRLS" THAN AN INTERVIEW WITH A POLITICAL CANDIDATE WHO HAPPENS TO BE THE FIRST WOMAN CANDIDATE TO RUN FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. WHAT MADE YOUR NASTY AND MEAN SPIRITED DISS SESSION EVEN WORSE WAS IT FOLLOWED THE VERY INFORMATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW WITH SENATOR BARACK OBAMA. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? IF ANYTHING, IT MADE YOU, KATIE, LOOK BAD AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WAS ALWAY A COURIC FAN, BUT NO MORE. PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR EARLY MORNING SHOW AND BE THE KIND AND WARM HUMAN BEING YOU ALWAYS WERE BEFORE.
