Facebook was good when you had to be a college student to join. Now it is junkier than MySpace. They ruined a good thing and killed the goose that laid the golden egg. Facebook will wind up with furniture.com in the an internet version of Pet Sematary.

What I buy & when I buy it is my own business. Why should I want to broadcast it to anyone/everyone on Facebook or anywhere else, for that matter. It''s not like I''m getting some kind of discount to do so. I mean, what''s the incentive for me to do so? If a company wants me to broadcast that I purchased one of their products, then offer me a discount on the product. Otherwise, stick to your tradional ads, (De)Face(d)book. My privacy doesn''t come cheap, and certainly not free.

"Word of mouth" usually has no interjected, off track, commercials.

Facebook used to be a great way to stay in touch with college friends. Now that corporate trolls are using it for data mining, I will be deleting my facebook account. Hackers & the gov''t others are also targeting facebook... it''s not safe to put any info about yourself online.
