- Noticed prices are higher lately? So have I. Inflation, which increases the price of everything you buy, be it a dozen eggs at the store, or the price you pay for gas at the pump, is caused when The Federal Reserve, a group of private banks run by unelected officials, who are not accountable to we the people, lowers the interest rate, notwithstanding the fact that the Dollar has been undergoing a major devaluation overseas, rather than increasing the interest rate like it should have done. That''s Economics 101, folks. Everything costs more in U.S. Dollars, because the Dollar is worth less. Because the Fed is allowed to print unbacked money out of thin air, and then loan it to the our government, which is then saddled with an interest obligation to pay it back, our money is becoming worth less and less each day, and our National debt to the Fed is approaching 10 trillion dollars. It gets worse. Most of our debt is owned by China (25%) and Saudi Arabia who buy our Treasury Bonds, which finances our runaway military spending overseas. This is a threat to our nation, folks. We need to stop this madness. We need to bring our troops home from overseas, and use the trillions we would then save thereby to reduce our debt, and to re-invigorate our currency. We can then use this money to ensure that Social Security and other essential programs will still be solvent in ten years. Vote for Ron Paul. He''s written entire books on the topic of sound economics. ronpaullibrary.org

- Ron Paul can win the GOP nomination. If he does, I predict a landslide victory in November of 2008. Even the oddsmakers in Vegas aren''t willing to discount his chances. They''re currently giving him 4:1 odds to win against Hitlery if he gets the nomination. Romney, McCain and the globalist, sell-out Giuliani aren''t given anything better than a 35:1 chance of winning if they get the GOP nod. All it takes is for formerly apathetic individuals to get off the couch and nominate him in their local Republican primary or caucus process. Political parties are nothing more than tools. Those who read the manual and use the tools properly will win the nomination for their candidate. For the past 20 years, many good people have stayed at home and accepted whatever candidate they let others select for them. This year, those people are learning how to use their vote to bring about positive and long overdue political change in this country. To make a difference, you must participate in the Republican primary election or caucus process in your county, precinct or district. Nothing else matters. If we do this, we win. If not, we lose. The GOP has been suffering from declining participation for decades. Fewer than 10% of registered voters have ALL the power because they actually participate. Now the remaining 90% must surge to use their vote as a tool for bringing about positive change to our country. The time to act is now. The time for political revolution has come. The time for Ron Paul is NOW!

- Like Ron Paul, I share our Founders'' belief that in a free society each citizen must have the right to keep and bear arms. They ratified the Second Amendment knowing that this right is the guardian of every other right, and they all would be horrified by the proliferation of unconstitutional legislation that prevents Law-abiding Americans from exercising this right. Congressman, Paul has always supported the Second Amendment and these are some of the Bills he introduced in the current Congress to help restore respect for it: H.R. 1096 includes provisions repealing the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act and the Federal Firearms License Reform Act of 1993, two invasive and unconstitutional Bills. H.R. 1897 would end the ban on carrying a firearm in the National Park System, restoring Americans'' ability to protect themselves in potentially hazardous situations. H.R. 3305 would allow pilots and specially assigned Law enforcement personnel to carry firearms in order to protect airline passengers, possibly preventing future 9/11-style attacks. H.R. 1146 would end our membership in the United Nations, protecting us from their attempts to tax our guns or disarm us entirely. In the past, he introduced legislation to repeal the so-called assault weapons ban before its 2004 sunset, and he has opposed all attempts to reinstate it. Congessman, Paul also recently opposed H.R. 2640, which would allow government-appointed psychiatrists to ban U.S. veterans experiencing even mild forms of PTSD.

- What''s Ron''s message? Whatever you think Dr. Paul''s campaign is about, the main thing it has done thus far is to serve as a clearinghouse for voters like me who feel unrepresented by New World Order Fasciscts (mainstream Republicans) and their Socialist comrades in crime (mainstream Democrats). They''re actually one and the same. There is no real difference between the two parties. Most people, though, are too distracted, dumbed-down, or outright brainwashed by mainstream media, which endlessly regurgitates scientifically-crafted streams of information aimed at keeping your eyes closed to the realities of the world around you, that you fail to recognize this. Those currently in power, and those being groomed to take [major] political power, are the "global elite," and we are their "Plebs." People on the right and those on the left have many differences, maybe irreconcilable ones. But they have a lot of common beliefs too, and their numbers and anger are of a considerable magnitude. No matter what happens in 2008, I personally believe Ron Paul will influence the national conversation about what the role of the federal government is, how much power should government have over our lives, how much liberty we should give up for security. These are important issues, and frankly, no one''s talking about them as seriously and sincerely as Ron Paul. What''s for sure is that his growing army of supporters like me will be a force to be reckoned with in 2008.

- We are supposed to believe that according to this story, if a single goofball becomes somehow "believeable" it is of zero consequencw idf we have a crook/dunce for president.
If you believe this, I have a Ron Paul to sell you.
NO GOVERNMENT IS THE SAME OLD rEPUBLICAN PARTY LINE.
Ron Paul is incapable of inspiring any real belief in leadership in those who want--for instance--HEALTH CARE FOR ALL AMERICANS. - Reply to this comment

- Guess I''m having some positive effect here. I''m watching Ron Paul''s Web site. In just one day (today), he has already raised over $3,000,000 in grass roots donations. It looks like they''re going to beat Romney''s one-day (Republican) record of 3.1 million dollars. Ron certainly isn''t getting any money from the military industrial complex (verify this online if you like), like all the other sold-out NWO ****** on the left and the right who pretend to be his equal. He''s getting support from millions of REAL people who share in his Hope For America:
(1) No more meddling in other country''s political affairs
(2) No more aggressive military actions overseas
(3) No more pseudo-wars like the "War on Drugs"
(4) No more IRS and unconstitutional income taxes
(5) No more Federal Reserve (the group of private banks which owns our government)
(6) No more abortion
(7) No more U.N. participation
(8) No more federal Laws which are not authorized by The Constitution
(9) No more all-powerful federal government

- All elected officials are evil. As soon as they stop being evil they have to quit being politicians. It''s a rule. ''Grass roots'' or not.

... to be frank, i do NOT want to defend Hillary because personally, i believe she is EVIL (and i''m a liberal democrat.. go figure).
However, with that said... the CONGRESS has the reasonable expectation that when they are told something by the president and secretary of state and intelligence officers... that it is all VALIDATED information. With that assumption of believing their president, they said "ok, go fight in Iraq and bring this real threat to an end"... MANY of us KNEW BETTER THOUGH and said this stuff is FALSE. From Day 1, i''ve been saying this is all ridiculous and we shouldn''t invade Iraq, but who am I... just a little peon, a citizen of this formerly great nation.
The freaking ridiculous CONs who march in lock-step with the president should all be removed from office. The ridiculous DEMS who out from one side of their mouth say "we need to END this war!" and then out of the other side of their mouth vote WITH the president to continue to fund this debacle should ALSO be removed. PERIOD. - Reply to this comment

- So, let me get this right...
The President, The Secretary of State, and others sold the war to the citizens of the US through Congress with an UNVALIDATED set of facts? They called it "a slam dunk"?? and they didn''t even verify ONE fact before affirming to the world that any of it was true? Do you have ANY idea how irresponsible that is?? and yet you CONS still support him?
In addition, those same culprits said the yellowcake thing was REAL too... then released info that it was all faked as well.
These SMOKING GUNS are NOT SMOKING GUNS... they are FALSEHOODS that the president and his cohorts could just pin the blame on ... "we couldn''t have known they were big fat liars... even tho'' we didn''t even bother trying to validate ANY of the so called ''facts'' he gave us"
UNBELIEVEABLE.
Tell me republiCONS, how can you possibly support this president and his administration knowing FULL WELL that NONE of their intelligence gathered was even checked on first!? Half a TRILLION dollars of your money is gone now. And you''re OK with that? oh yeah, there''s also the thousands of lives that have been lost due to this. We will be paying reparations for EONS due to this. - Reply to this comment

- I predict that in the near future Earth will be dominated by a powerful, one world government. Once free nations are slaves to the will of a tiny, global elite. The dawn of a new dark age is upon mankind. Countries are a thing of the past. Every form of independence is under attack, with the family, even the individual itself, nearing extinction. Close to 80% of the earth''s population has been eliminated. The remnants of a once free humanity are forced to live within highly controlled, compact, prison-like cities. Travel is highly restricted. Superhighways connect the mega-cities and are designed to keep the population from entering into unauthorized zones. No human activity is private. Artificially intelligent super computers chronicle and catagorize a person''s every action. A prison planet run by a ruthless gang of control freaks, whose power can never be challenged, will dominate. This is the vision of Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and their fellow members of The Bilderberg Group. Their goal: a program of total dehumanization, where the science of tyranny is Law. A worldwide control grid, designed to ensure the overlords'' monopoly of power forever. Our species will be condemed to this nightmare future unless the masses are awakened to their New World Order master plan, and mobilized to defeat it. Erected secretly, the Georgia Guidestones are a testament to their totalitarian plan for a world religion; global Laws; a global court; and a global army to enforce those Laws.

- Sadly, even though Clinton voted for the war in Iraq, and a host of Laws aimed at removing your liberties, so many Democrats are blinded by her cult of personality that I predict they will overwhelmingly vote to put her crime family back into office. While I''ve made some progress in educating Liberals as to the phony staged consensus of the left-right paradigm, the fact remains that a majority of Democrats still see the White House as some kind of political Super Bowl, where the success of their "team" is the be all and end all - to the expense of America as a whole. The Punch and Judy show theatre that was the "troop surge" debate in the Senate characterizes Hillary''s role in hoodwinking Americans perfectly. The debate is framed as not whether the U.S. should get out of the Middle-East altogether, but the relative minutia of whether to feed thousands of more troops into the meat grinder or not. Clinton''s Campaign Manager recently compared Hillary to Margaret Thatcher, which translates as more war, more dead Americans, and a further desecration of the tattered shreds of what''s left of our Constitution. Clinton is the ultimate global elitist and represents the Democrats supposed base, the poor and downtrodden, about as much as Lindsay Lohan represents grace and dignity. I''m sure she informed the likes of David Rockefeller and Queen Beatrix as to her presidential aspirations during her last visit to attend the Bilderberg Group conference, which brings me to my next prediction.
