Funny how you libs criticize Bush even though he served, yet were silent on Clinton not serving and even participating in protests overseas. Liberals are nothing more than hypocrites with no morals and no conscious. Bruce needs to keep his politics to himself or the maintream media needs to publish about patriotic stars who actually go over and entertain the troops.

Asked what he means, Springsteen tells Pelley, "Well, I think that we''''''''ve seen things happen over the past six years that I don''''''''t think anybody ever thought they''''''''d ever see in the United States. When people think of the American identity, they don''''''''t think of torture. They don''''''''t think of illegal wiretapping. They don''''''''t think of voter suppression. They don''''''''t think of no habeas corpus. No right to a lawyer %u2026 you know. Those are things that are anti-American."

right, talk about naive lol how stupid do you have to be to believe such BS lol

I would like to know what did they lied about? Remember before you respond that Hilary Clinton stood up in front of congress and said she had done her own research and from that research she felt that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and is a very dangerous man. This is why she voted YES for the war!

As for Middle Class and Oil. Wow that has to be one of the dumbest comments I have heard. Is there such a thing anymore? If you wanted to say that they take advantage of lower class citizens who otherwise may not have a future you may have a point. As for Oil if we really wanted oil we will tell Kuwait or Saudia Arabia to give us their oil or we will kiss your *** goodbye. anyone who really thinks we went to war for the oil is a complete idiot.

A needless war? Terrorist survive with money. Iraq may not have been the cause of 9/11 but they have the funding and they had the desire to kill Americans. They were an easy target which the US had support in the beginning so they went after him. What we did wrong was assume the country could be changed in a day. we gave up after we caught Saddam. That is where I feel the administration really screwed up. The troop increase should of happened at that point. Way too late!

Bin Laden killed over 3000 innocent people in minutes on one occasion. How about all the other attacks in other countries. You are insane! Typical American, short memory!

Geezer

Yes Springsteen should have the right to speak his mind. The problem that I have is that he goes on to mainstream media who will never challenge his viewpoints and ask for any backing of the comments he makes. You can think what you want to think about Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, but those two both went on his show and were able to discuss their differences and actually in the end you sometimes see common ground. With Jesse Jackson it was a very good show and saw some common ground and a good discussion. There were no absurd comments made by either one without backing or proof. Springsteen has been on Good Morning America, 60 minutes making many negative comments about how this country has changed and how he has seen things that he never thought he would in America. I would love to hear him speak to someone who would dig deeper and will challenge him. I have real issue with anyone who make these random comments without any substance.

xavierbrown:

I guess you are not a sheep. You must be one of those pathetic macho cowards - like draft-dodger, chicken-hawk Bush and Mr. 5-deferment Cheney.

They are not afraid to ''bing em on''.

They are not afraid to deliberately LIE to the American people to start a needless wars.

They are not afraid to use and abuse Middle Class troops as cannon fodder for their imperial Wars for Oil and regional dominance.

They are not afraid to spend $500 BILLION on needless War, and use the money for the profit of their Blackwater mercenary and Haliburton buddies.

They are not afraid of blowback from Abu Ghraib, torture, secret rendition, permanent US military bases on arab soil...

They are not afraid to kill more civilians than Osama Bin Forgotten (by a hundred-fold).

Yes we have real tough-guy leaders right now. Hitler was a tough guy too. He invaded whoever he wanted to, kicked a*s*s too, just like Bush said he''s doing in Iraq. Hitler made people feel good about their country, lots of patriotism, flags, parades. Come to think of it Bush and Hitler are a lot alike aren''t they.

When Merle Haggard recorded America First (and wrote it) there was no critism of his work although he was critizing the use of force in Iraq and the slippery slope America is on. Why, because Merle does not attract the crowds Bruce does which proves that being a star of Bruce magnitude has a element of fear amongst those who support Bush and the war.

7 9:03 a.m. United Airlines Flight 175, Boston to Los Angeles with 65 people onboard, flies into the south tower of the World Trade Center.

9:50 a.m. South tower of the World Trade Center collapses

10:29 a.m. North tower of the World Trade Center collapses.

WTC-7 was unharmed by an airplane and had only minor fires on the seventh and twelfth floors of this 47-story steel building yet it collapsed in less than 10 seconds.

Pothead Maher says the towers burned for two hours before they collapsed but the south tower collapsed 47 minutes after being struck by flight 175 and the north tower collapsed in less than two hours after being struck by flight 11. The pothead doesn%u2019t even tell the viewers that WTC 7 wasn%u2019t hit by a plane and suffered only minor damage from the collapse of the twin towers prior to its collapse at free fall speed. Pothead suggests people that are questioning the BS 9/11 stories need to take paxil but he has consistently advocated against pharmaceutical drug use and insists marijuana cures his paranoid thoughts.
