Does Scott Pelley receive a paycheck from both CBS and the Bush/Cheney group or just from the Bush/Cheney group?
The statement read from Bush sounded more his actions than those of Iran.
In all truth Ahmadinejad looks evil, his eyes, his demeanor and Scott Pelley looked like a typical honest American, amazing how looks can be decieving.
CBS bias was clear when you dumped the Smothers Brothers at der Nixon''s request all those years ago, still at it I see.

What an arrogant, rude, and politically motivated interrogation from a self proclaimed "journalist". Scott Pelley is a shameful example of an American and a journalist. President Ahmadinejad has more class, more respect, and more common sense compared to Pelley. No wonder I don''t watch 60 minutes anymore.

The incriminating biased manner in which Pelley ''interrogated'' Pres. A. was ''brutal''and lacking in class and respect. Not to mention, scripted fomenting a targeted audience hearing only the questions and not the response. I thought, under the ''attack'' of Pelley, President A. exhibited more class, charisma and ''common sense'' than the ''quote'' shared from Preisdent B., which came off as what would be the personna of the ''enemy''. Of whom we should be fearful ... not the President of Iran. Any more than what was the propaganda you ''fueled'' about Saddam Hussein ... your complicity having the blood on your hands .. of young American soldiers and more Iraqi lives dead ... than what will ever be attributed to Saddam Hussein ...in perpetuity.

This was the WORST interview I have ever seen on 60 minutes in 30 plus years of watching it. In fact I had to turn it off I was so disgusted. There was no respect from Pelley and he didn''t appear to be listening. He wanted to get his agenda across which must have come straight from the Bush propaganda machine. Pelley- another stenographer for the White House noise machine. If they they can just pound us over the head enough times we''ll be stupid enough to believe them again and go marching off to another war. Unfortunatly the American memory is 2 minutes long so it''s bound to happen.

Oh my God - what happened in this interview conducted by Scott Pelley - it was infuriating and honestly, stupid. He had the nerve to respond that President Bush is a deeply religious man??? Being deeply religious does not equate to a man who contrived a war based on untruths resulting in the deaths of so many US citizens and leaving thousands of American families heart broken - and that''s not even to mention how many Iraqi citizens have died as a result of "stirring up a bees'' nest" in the name of greed over oil.

A deeply religious man would be spending money on the care of the people who voted him into office - oops, I forgot - he stole the election as well - so must be my mistake to suspect that he would do anything other than continue to be a liar and a criminal guilty of mass manslaughter.

I can''t get over it - this interview made one of the most respected news shows on television look grossly immature and nonobjective - did any one watch this prior to being aired??? I don''t think so - because it was truly shocking.

"I watched the entire interview on c-span2. Scott Pelley seemed more like a white house spokesman than a interviewer. Was he tasked with interviewing Ahmadinejad or propogate the views of the white house. And how dare he speak on behalf on the America people. This was a waste of an interview. He should go work for fox news or glenn beck."

For this interviewer (Pelley), and other political operators in America, to even suggest that there is anything at all wrong with Iran''s President visiting Ground Zero in NYC is outrageous, because not one person, nor one real, legitimate link can be found to Iran concerning 9/11!!! The only real objection by Pelley and Condoleeza Rice, etc., is that they fear President Ahmadinejad''s true compassion and humanity would be revealed for all the world to see. These political operators and war-mongers need to demonize this completely innocent and decent man.

"Scott Pelley showed himself to be a rude incompetent. He made America look like a barbaric society and he made Iran look sympathetic. For all of the reasons that Iran''''s president stated, this had to be one of the worst excuses for a fair interview that I''''ve ever seen. I was embarrassed for everyone involved. Iran''''s presidents made his enemies look like uncultured children. Does saying this make me seem like a traitor? In Scott Pelley''''s America, I fear that it does."

No, you are absolutely right, President Ahmadinajad showed himself to be a man of intelligence, subtlety, and class; his interviewer came off as a petty bully!(-:

Who the heck is Scott Pelley to be so rude to the President of Iran? He was right to ask, "Who are you? The CIA?" Pelley may wish in his dreams to be a diplomat but he is not and if he was he''d be a total failure, Not unlike our own miserable State Department. That was such a hostile interview, I am sick for our nasty country. We have become what we hate.

It is amazing to me that by the end of this interview, which was so one-sided, that I found myself pulling for the President of Iran. Your lack of objectivity is so obvious - we the viewers of America are not nimcompoops - give us some credit. Of course he is a liar, like all political leaders are liars - but you managed to give him credibility, and make America look like the Warmonger, while Iran is the country of peace. The Scorecard reads, President of Iran - winner, 60 Minutes - loser.

What in the World? Was that even really an interview? There were so many things I (and probably many viewers like me) wanted to know about Iran and Scott Pelley failed to iilucidate any of them. His interview digressed into a tirade. He sounded like a mouthpiece for the US government and not a journalist. A high school journalism student could have come up with more insightful questions. "Name one thing you admire about President Bush.." Are you serious. ANd then when the Iranian president turned this question on Scott Pelley his answer was laughable, "He is a very religious man". How is that an admirable trait? Please CBS, the next time you have a chance to interview a leader of another nation, send a journalist who has some actual curiosity and some verbal communication skills. ANd tell Scott Pelley to go work for FOX news if wants to spout pro American rhetoric.

I was appalled at the interview by Scott Pelley. I do not think he had a clue of how to interview this major player in the Middle East. Shame on you, 60 Minutes for airing such a debacle. Pelley needs to take some lessons in interviewing and diplomacy or he should be replaced by someone who DOES know how to establish rapport and gain insight into the views of those he interviews. What an idiot.

Brin Our Troops Home, For Them To Die Over Oil Is Unacceptable. The only people that can stop this is you the People of The Nation you must make your voice heard. Here is how you can do it in your city right now: http://ronpaul.meetup.com/cities/ If you have the ability to take action it is your responsibility. Do you have the ability?

Singingrick, God blesses righteous people and nations, and amply doles out cursings to those who are evil. Haven''t you ever wondered why America hasn''t won a war, or major conflict, since WWII, why our nation is becoming impoverished, increasingly adverse weather conditions, and why our leaders seem to get worse with each election? I will give you a giant hint; America has been turning further away from God with each passing decade (allowing interracial marriage, allowing abortion, taking prayer out of the schools, allowing homosexual unions and even "marriages", feminist movement rebellion against the family, removing the 10 Commandments from places of honor in public buildings, divorce rates skyrocketing, people not even bothering to marry anymore, etc., etc., etc.), even yearly, as the pace picks up!!!

I used to trust the journalists of 60 Minutes to deliver objective reporting, and in depth interviews. Apparently objectivity is no longer valued by certain "reporters" on 60 Minutes. I was appalled by the "interview" of the Iranian president. If I wanted to see a "reporter" spout the Bush administration party line, I would watch Fox News. I won''t watch 60 Minutes until Mr. Pelley is removed to the propaganda department.

I have looked to 60 Minutes as one of the best news magazines that major networks have to offer. No more. Scott Pelley''s interview was inept, embarrassing, and unworthy of a program that prides itself on quality journalism. I have never heard these same questions put to this country''s leader or any of his cohorts. Make an effort to do that and I''ll consider watching this program again.

Full of so-called Established Facts (remember Colin Powells infamous UN speech was ALSO full of this) Scott Pelly%u2019s slanted shill for Bushcos next corporate war reached it%u2019s most disgusting when he told the Iranian president he admires Bush as a Very Religious Man. Assuming it were journalism to say so, Scott, Why do you think he is religious, because he says so? It is a sham. Jesus said, "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep''s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them", Matthew 7.1-6.
On which presidents watch have tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis died, countless others been tortured, and now have an apparently open ended number of US soldiers been committed to die in a crass grab for oil and US corporate global positioning speciously branded Operation Iraqi Freedom? Go back just a few years and see then-Governor Bush, cruelly mocking death-row-inmate turned born-again-Christian Karla Faye Tucker as she pled for clemency. This is no choirboy; this is a monster.

After watching a few minutes of Pelley''s so-called interview, I fast forwarded through it to get to the rest of 60 Minutes. Pelley reminded me of nothing so much as a neo-con talking head like O''Reilly or Hannity, with a an agenda that sounded like it came straight out of Tony Snow''s mouth. I will never watch Pelley again. Your audience deserves an apology for this travesty of an "interview".

sleistico..Thanks I wasn''t aware of that. The thing I have trouble with is that before he left Iran they had a parade with missle carriers with ani US and Isreal slogans paited on the side I don''t consider that a friendly gesture.
