- If CBS really wanted to report on something why not the former ACLU President of Virginia that was arrested 4 day%u2019s ago for owning and jacking off to Child porn not just any child porn but young children preteen tide down and raped?

And your point is..?? What does that have to do with the issue at hand of the war? There are sick people everywhere, of every persuasion. I suggest you stop being so partisan. - Reply to this comment
- "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"
- John F. Kennedy
I have an idea, lets sign a petition to have this quote removed from history books nation-wide. We obviously have no need for it these days. The next time you want to ask someone what they think about the casualty toll in Iraq, ask me. I will reply by asking you how many 11 year old boys and girls were abducted since the war began, girls like Jessica Lundsford who was buried alive in a garbage bag by a repeat *** offender after he raped her countless times, but who cares, lets focus on this war taking place thousands of miles away. How many children were killed in school shootings, how many of our mothers and daughters were raped while walking to their cars after pulling a late shift at work.
Who cares, lets concentrate on this war thats thousands of miles away. How much cocaine was pushed across our borders since 03'? How many teenage boys were forced into gangs since then?
We find it so easy to blame President Bush for everything, why? Because everyone else is doing it? When is war ever a necessity or pretty? We are losing sight of what America stands for, when millions of Americans will publicly trash our goverment for a war taking place half a world away when we do nothing to help our own neighbors from becoming victims. - Reply to this comment
- As an active duty NCO in 1st BDE, 1st ID I would like to apologize to every WWII vet and Vietnam vet. My generation is so selfish and most lack the ability to make they're own judgements and not be influenced by some CNN self proclaimed "expert on Islamic Ideology" who has never set foot in Iraq and is reading off notes from his "Idiot's guide: to understanding Islam and the holy war". You great Americans made unimaginable sacrifices for our country "without" the luxaries that we are afforded today. You went from fight to bloody fight with nothing but a pair of wet boots and a few letters from home tucked away in your coat pocket that you read when times got hard. Every soldier today shares a two man room with air conditioning, internet in every room, cell phones, video games, swimming pools etc...
God bless each and everyone of you and god bless technology, for without it and the weapons & equipment it provides for us today, I am not sure most of our younger generation soldiers would have the heart to defend your grandchildren. - Reply to this comment
- Bush is playing all of us against each other! In one hand he is touting the Red White and Blue war on Terror against everyone who attacked us on 911 and on the other hand he is funding Al Qaeda to destabilize an counter other governments in the Middle East! The recently resigned terrorist Czar ask for a demotion to deputy Secretary of State Because he did not want to be tangled up with another Iran Contra style Funding Fiasco that is going on in Lebanon. Here is the stream read it yourself!

Just copy up to the Hersh on the news stream this web site is adding a n on the end of the paste!
Iran Contra, al Qaeda Lebanon same oh same oh! The Bush Administration is covertly supporting a minimum of three Sunni al Qaeda organizations in Lebanon to act as a buffer against the Shiite Hezbollah. Yes and the money is coming from the billions of dollars unaccounted for from Iraq! This support is not regulated by Congress, is in direct contravention to the WAR on TERROR the NEOCONS expound, and is under the same pretext as the Iran Contra Scandal of the late 1980s! This was reported by Wolf Blitzer yesterday on CNN and again tonight!
Email your senators and representatives and tell them your views! LET THEM KNOW YOU KNOW OF THIS DIRTY LITTLE SECRET!

- Appeal for Redress
Sign this Appeal.
This site is an Appeal For Redress in support of our mission in Iraq.
An Appeal For Redress is an authorized means for active duty military to submit a grievance to Congress. It can be signed by Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard military personnel.
It is authorized by DoD Directive 1325.6 and DoD Directive 7050.6.
The wording of the Appeal for Redress is:
As an American currently serving my nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to fully support our mission in Iraq and halt any calls for retreat. I also respectfully urge my political leaders to actively oppose media efforts which embolden my enemy while demoralizing American support at home. The War in Iraq is a necessary and just effort to bring freedom to the Middle East and protect America from further attack.
If you are active duty, reservist or national guard, please Sign this Appeal.
Most service members fully support the war in Iraq and feel calls to retreat by Congress and attacks by our media on our conduct and mission act to motivate our enemy while demoralizing our support at home, directly increasing the threat we face and resulting in greater American casualties. This Appeal for Redress provides a way in which individual service members can appeal to Congress to fully support us and actively oppose media attacks on our mission and our morale.
This Appeal will be delivered to members of Congress.

- ray............your father, God Bless him, is completely off the subject.... we all have relatives who have fought...my Grandfather was killed in WW II....so what. Iraq is a mess......you, me...we've all been lied to repeatedly by this administration. Bush will go down in history next to Nixon as the worst president(s) this country has experienced. Unfortunately, it will take much, much longer to dig out of the mess Bush has driven us to. God help the next president, whoever wins, because he/she will inherit one mountain of a job.

I'm very flattered, but like you, I'm just another schmoe on another internet discussion forum. I may have blown you away with my inspiration and insight so far, but you still don't know much about me. Trust in yourself. You are the key. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Don't look for a savior especially among politicians vying for the most powerful position in the world. Trust in yourself. Question authority. I am no better than you. Do not look to me to save you. You don't even know who I am. THEY are no better than you. What do YOU think? - Reply to this comment
- I have served in Iraq in Baghdad. The only reason the reenlistment rates are up is because of the thousands of dollars tax free offered to reenlist and the fact that the Army is using stop loss to force people into reenlistment. I support this appeal 100%. God Bless us all who are on active duty and are not afraid to speak the truth.

- Most of you are saying its really bad out there in the US from 1995 tell now I%u2019m way better off, I%u2019m not rich I have given up on ever owning a home and I pray daily that the stupid (new home owners) that bought into the overly inflated market with ARM go BR and also are foreclosed on. Now that%u2019s a bitter statement but truthful. I look at what some of these greed ridden people where doing and was saying are you insane buying a condo of 650 sq. ft. for $480,000 and thinking they got a great deal just to see there home foreclosed on.

"Don't be a tool!! Resist this madness."
kdp415 what is your solution to world peace. What should we do? And please don't tell me that your political position is that everything this administartion does is evil and wrong but provide no real solutions for our future that can't be backed up with history, experience, or facts. - Reply to this comment
