- I've been involved in confronting Holocaust deniers for more than ten years on the Internet, and in real life. Facts will not change the minds of hard-core deniers like David Duke, David Irving and Ernst Zundel. No matter what facts are unearthed, what documents are released, what excavations reveal, they will never admit to the slightest adjustment in their views. One must never forget that the former head of the "National Socialist White Peoples' Party," Harold Covington, said it quite plainly: "The real reason for Holocaust revisionism is to make National Socialism an accepted political alternative again." It's disgusting, but true.

- The facts are the facts... the information comes from the Germans not the Jews...
The Germans built five different crematorium and gas chamber facilities at Auschwitz, which varied in size. German officials said the smallest could burn 340 corpses a day and the two largest could each handle 1,440 corpses a day. - Reply to this comment

I have a perfect solution for your disbelief. Permit me to lock you in the Auschwitz gas chamber to check and see if it works...or take you to Treblinka and hook up a diesel engine and see if it works. Since you're so sure neither works, you should have no trouble offering yourself up for the experiment...and while we're at it how about bringing your ENTIRE family, parents, grandparents, children, spouse, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters so they can agree to join with you and be part of your impossible occurence.

- Hopefully the "60 minutes" broadcast on holocast horrors and the Nazi documents being made public will reinforce the truth.It is sad to realize press freedom gives madmen the opportunity to publicly deny the existence of this terrible event. Scott Pelley might take this one step further. Challenge the President of Iran to visit the archives with "60 Minutes" coverage. He is probably disturbed enough to subsequently claim the archives are false.

- Michigan Gal... Fascinating insights into what might or might not have been possible in terms of volume of killing or cremation. What is your point? Anyone capable of even writing such a post has probably been driving diesel trucks up a steep hills with the pedal to the ground way too much.

Initially after WWII, It wasn't the Jews that were anxious to tell the world about the dealth camps. It was the soldiers who came to rescue the people. They were uncertain what they would find. It was the liberators of the camps that shared their findings. The gruesom details came fromt he German SS. The maticulous records kept by the SS were discovered. The German SS recorded every action to every person. This isn't only a Jewish issue, it is a matter of humanity. - Who are we to say whether these things happened or not, those of us who were never there. Who are we to say that these people didn't feel this real pain, didn't lose their families and that their memories of this time is false..what would bring about such horific such false memories?

These are the actions of a madman, how can you try to disprove such stories of horror by saying "The absolute max capacity of the Auschwitz crematoriums were a couple of hundred a day." How can you know this..were you there?? Were you among the mad who did these deeds?

- Those f** ing a***holes who deny the Holocaust make me sick. They should be shot. My grandfather lost two brothers in the camps and my great uncle didnt take a shower for like two years living in concentrations camps. he told me of the hell it was. I hope those holocaust deniers burn in hell.

- I am so glad that the German government has opened up these archives. I am sick and tired of the Holocaust deniers and "Holohoaxers."
Thanks to CBS and 60 Minutes for taking on this issue, especially in light of the recent lunatic conference in Iran.
Anyone that denies the Holocaust happened is no different that ignoramuses that deny American astronauts landed on the moon or insist that the Loch Ness Monster is real.
