- For Amerigirl28: You are right, but ... We should have known more when we --the majority of the voters-- gave the republicans the whole thing (the two political branches of government) and the opportunity to turn republican the "non-political" third branch. We deserve what we got. And you just wait. Next November 7 you will see that we are reluctant to learn. I hope we do not remain so blind and that we stop turning our eyes away from this living nightmare of government.

- Here's one from the HOW TO BE A GOOD REPUBLICAN.
Chapter 4 WHAT TO DO WHEN THE **** HITS THE FAN:
1. Blame Clinton
2. Blame and smear the victims
3. Blame Democrats bring up anything remotely similar that a Democrat did in the last 50 years if you have to
4. Blame the source of the information (see # 3) then smear them.
5. Blame the "vast liberal conspiracy"
6. Blame the "liberal media" and change the channel to Fox
7. Blame Clinton some more.
8. When all else fails, blame eachother but never never and in no circumstance take "personal responsibility" or look in the mirror. You'll sleep better at night.

- "U.S. officials say this was Iraqi money spent by a sovereign Iraqi government and therefore is the Iraqis' business."
Fools rush in, and we RUSHED into Iraq.
Or more so, our leaders rushed us into this war.
I still don't know why we are in Iraq but Iraq today is NOT sovereign.
If money is gone, it's our fault.
No if, and's or but's about it.
A cursory White House led us into a cursory war and dumped billions into a cursory Iraqi government.
Who knows where that money is?
Who cares?
It's just a drop in the bucket. - Reply to this comment
- Yeah well half a billion here half a billion there, this is the repubic_CON way, this is what you get from the spend and spend party, at least the Dem's tax and then spend, the repubes spend and spend and run up the national DEBT to ten trillion.
Bet a chunk of this money found it's way into a few American pockets, Haliburton, politicians, contracts. - Reply to this comment
- What has taken so long for someone to look into this. I have written to many TV shows over the years to see if they could do their investigating reporting as to where this money was going. I thought it was supposed to go for our expenses for the war and to rebuild Iraq. But no one seemed to have the guts to investigate this
Then no one seemed to know how to go in and immediately start the rebuild and get power, water, sewer and etc, up and running. No wonder that these people are upset and fighting for control. No one seems to know how to get this rebuild done and it is getting worse with the infighting.
Has anyone thought maybe some of this money is going to finance this revolution??? - Reply to this comment
- GIVE ME A BREAK. WITH THE HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WE'VE GIVEN THEM. THEY'RE COMPLAINING ABOUT LOOSING MONEY "WE" GAVE THEM. WHERE IS OUR MONEY GOING? YOU NEVER HEAR ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT WHERE THEY ARE SPENDING OUR MONEY.
