If the black stripper didn't come forth with the accusation, then the prosecutor would not have nothing to go with.

This is simply a case of a white prosecutor desparate to be re-elected in a predominately black community. He and the police broke the rules in every respect.

Addressing the comment about Kobe Bryant being falsely accused, please remember that at the civil trial Kobe Bryant said "I can now understand where Ms. (hotel clerk) felt this was not consentual".

Rape victims do not have *** with 2 other people after this "brutal rape", and the DNA linked that to two others people DNA, he should not have apologized for something he did not do, what he said was it was "rough ***" and perhaps she did not like it, but she went to his room and undressed herself, gave him a *** of her own feel will that she admitted too. She got paid, so I wouldn't not have apologize either!

And she refused to go thru with a trial, even though "her friends" gave evidence that this rape case was her ticket to fame. Go figure, but of course she is a victim and the NC female is not right?

If you had to move 5 times, had private detectives hounding you and death threats as well as court personnel leaking information and last but not least the defense lawyers throwing every lie possible to take the heat off their client (by the way, no apologizes were ever made to the victim), what would you do. Would you have felt the same if it had been your daughter that had been raped by Kobe.

My point in saying that was mostly to illustrate the fact that those gentlemen probably did not grow up around 'lots' of black people. I did a poor job of that because my explanation was taken out of context. Posted by amerigirl28 at 01:45 PM : Oct 16, 2006

So what if they was not raised around "lots" of black people? They seem to have mastered the word N, and whether someone is raised around another group of people or not, does not determine if they are racist or not or is an excuse to be racist. Nor does the amount of money the spend to educate themselves and the fact that you stated 1/3 of Blacks cannot afford it, was neither here nor there, I am positive that quite a few of all races and ethnic groups cannot afford certain prep schools, colleges, houses etc....Doesn't make them any less than anyone else or money hungry opportunists.

It seems that the DA is trying to win an election at the cost of these boys lives. This speaks loads for his character as a person and should be prosecuted for the lies he has told. This girl obviously was promiscuous and had attended another party that day were *** had taken place, possibly with her boyfriend. She says she had *** earlier with her boyfriend, Hmmm maybe. Why has there not be DNA taken of the boyfriend to prove if the vaginal DNA discovered was not the Duke players but his. Perhaps someone should look into her activities for the 24 hours prior to the party and collect some more DNA from people she has had known contact with. Maybe she is attempting to hide something from her boyfriend. With the amount of drugs it appears she was on, she may not be able to tell the two parties apart.

(after the rape her brother)2 Samuel 13:22 Old Testament 22."Absalom never said a word to Amnon, either good or bad; he hated Amnon because he had disgrace his sister Tamar.
23 Two year later
28Absalom ordered his men,"Listen! When Amnon is in high spirits from drinking....kill him.
32This has been Absalom's expressed intention ever since the day Amnon raped his sister Tamar.
(and the evil kept going....)

2 Samuel 13;16 Old Testament 14 "he raped her."
15 Then Amnon hated her with intense hatred. In fact, he hated her more than he had loved her. Amnon said to her, "Get up and get out!"

16 "he refused to listen to her. He called his personal servant and said, "Get this woman out of here and bolt the door after her.".18So his servant put her out and bolted the door after her.She was wearing a richly ornamented robe, for this was the kind of garment the virgin daughters of the kind wore.

19Tamar put ashes on her head and tore the ornamented robe she was wearing. She put her hand on her head and went away weeping aloud as she went. 20 "A desolate woman"

I have black friends, but they're not stupid. They recognize hypocracy, especially when it is so glaringly in their faces. I don't associate with people that can't think for themselves.

And the victim in this case death threats against her and her family as well.

So yes, throwing in racial slurs, an incriminating email will cause a reaction, but it doesn't mean these Black people are racists, I believe it was in response to the racial slurs already flown by these boys, and if these are neighboring communities then surely those racial slurs sprayed on Black Frats and Soros was publicized then too....So he is really the racist?

No, I am not easily offended. One does not have to be offended by "stereotypes", it is just tired.

well kevin, it does seem like the kids are racist, and even the nieghbors can atest to that, but that doesnt mean they raped her. My whole opinion is that the kids are scum in all aspects of the word, but the stripper is lying and tring to abuse the system and using these scum kids to do so.

Rape is as old as the Bible.

2 Samuel 13:2 "Amnon became frustrated to the point of illness on account of his sister Tamar, for she was a virgin, and it seemed impossible for him to do anything to her. 3. Now Amnon had a friend...very shrewd man.4..asked "Why do you, the KING's son, look so haggard....Amnon said,"I'm in love with Tamar,my brother Absolom's
sister."

Then they SET HER UP. It began a hellish deadly war in the House of King David.

Where was the support for the student/athletes and being innocent until guilty? The president basically sided with the accuser right away. I was seriously dissappointed by what i heard from him.

He did support them, when the (The Lacrosse Team) was spraying racial slurs on Black Fraternity and Sororities, as opposed to have them charged with a felony, like most others would get, he supported them when they attacked a gay man, by allowing the convicted attacker back on campus. He shoved under the rug the many complaints by other women on campus and neighbors about what was going on in that house, before this incident happened.

Perhaps if he would have stepped up and stopped them a long time ago, their activities would have never excelerated to this. But, I would certainly call that supporting them.

Offended by racism? Now that is ridiculous, racism is not what offends Black people, it is the injustices based upon racism that offends them.

Personally, I could careless if you did not like me for being Black or whatever. But, yes I am more than offended by the injustices of Blacks killed yearly by hate groups, their homes burned down, their places of worshipped burned, the inequalities in wages, housing, loans etc......

Now when you can give me a list of Blacks doing that to Whites, I will surely call it what it is.

No I am not afraid to call anything what it is. Posted by Sunkist01 at 02:41 PM : Oct 16, 2006

My example was from this news excerpt, that's why I made this post to begin with. It said that black people from the surrounding community were threatening kids all over the campus, even kids that had nothing to do with the case at all. Kids were getting threatened with drive-by's just because they were white and going to Duke University.

Is that the kind of example you were looking for?

I have black friends, but they're not stupid. They recognize hypocracy, especially when it is so glaringly in their faces. I don't associate with people that can't think for themselves.

"I am positive white males are not huddled together thinking what and who is making them look bad or even care the activities of the KKK and its ilks, because it does not involve them and if anyone is blaming the actions of one person or a few on a whole race/ethnic group"

This is what I posted and I was responding to a poster who stated that white rich men making their race look bad or a black person making their whole race look bad. I stand by my post that no white males are not thinking this makes them look bad only the accused and guilty looks bad in any race. Yes, caring about racial issues when it doesn't effect a person is choice.

I really don't mind being called a racist though, because truth is often met with contempt. I do prefer to be called discriminatory though. Because I am!

Alright didnt mean to assume they dont care because they are tired of it, but none the less there are still those that do not care, in all races, and for thier own reasons what ever it maybe.

I believe these boys behaved themselves in a very undignified way as a result...these accusations have come about. Some of those on the team made suggestions that made the girls feel uncomfortable enough to lock themselves into the bathroom. Why the young ladies then went back into the house is a matter for a serious psychiatrist to ascertain. Either way, I think the testimony of the accuser is in serious question as she has changed her statement a few times and even the other young lady with her cannot surmise what actually happened to her and what did not. The accuser herself was so drug and alcohol induced she was "out of it," as some have said. However, two people have said racial slurs where made, one of the young ladies and a neighbor who was only a bystander and had nothing to gain. I think it is disgusting in this day and time that racial slurs can be blurted out so easily the moment anger strikes. There is no class, self-control, character or morals constraining some people. This is very sad.

Wow I said nothing about them having a history of killing, thats obvious, they do, and they are wrong for doing so. You are Making the assumption that white males, dont care what the kkk does becuase it does not involve them. That is a big assumption, and im saying people of all race care, becuase it does involve them in all aspects. But if you wanna get technical, sure not all "white men" care, hey the men and women that do not care, are those that are tired of caring becuase this stuff happens all to often, and they are white, black and all skin colors, thats just thier choice.

Well that is a big assumption of you to assume those that don't care is because it happens to often and are tired and bored of it.
