- Thank you for giving Dr. Anna Pou a chance to clear her name. I do not know Dr. Pou, but looking at this woman she is a faithful Catholic from South Louisiana that can still say a Rosary and probably still prays for her patients before she goes to sleep at night. Dr. Pou had no reason to murder these people. What motive would she have? Collect the insurance money; gain a large inheritance, national fame as a mass murderer. No I do not believe she would gain from any of this. She came to that floor voluntarily, to comfort very ill people in a very uncomfortable situation, their doctor was not there. The days after a hurricane are the hottest most humid and worse smelling you can imagine.
How should be investigated?
The Attorney General is the person that you should be investigating. He is in the pocket of some law firm looking to capitalize on Dr. Pou malpractice insurance, or in the pocket of Memorial Hospital looking to deflect their litigation. Charles Foti is a shake down artist, has been doing it for years under former Mayor Mark Morial. - Reply to this comment
- If I''m ever so sick that I have a DNR order and have been abandoned in a hospital in the direst of post-disaster circumstances, I hope I have medical care providers as dedicated as Dr. Pou and her nursing staff who make the excruciatingly difficult choice to stay and care for me.
Sincerely,
Mary Fell
