I lost a child 2 years ago and I grieve each and every day and your son killed himself because of the actions of your husband that and that you CHOSE him and to support him in jail. You really don't look like someone that is grieving and look more like someone that just wants the sympathy as the "poor" (no pun intended) wife and victim. Have to say, great dye job on the hair -- what did that cost you here in South Florida???

- 60 minutes, why interviewed these people? Not productive to say the least. I don't want to see these folk winning about their problems. What about those who lost money to them? Why don't you go interview them instead. Waste of time and money on these people.

- i do not believe that ruth and bernie tried to commit suicide. she is only saying this now to garner some public sympathy. the person in charge of supervising bernie's home arrest on the date of this supposed suicide attempt is quoted as saying that he was in the house until the evening and again the next morning. he said no such suicide attempt occurred to his knowledge.

- I don't understand why people are so hateful, when hate will do nothing to "make things right." I prefer understanding, and reason. I wonder what good will come of more punishment and more vituperation on the part of the public. Isn.'t it time to forgive and move on ?

- well, if i ever had any doubt about whether or not ruth was as horrible as bernie, i now have my answer. she finds out her husband has destroyed the lives of elderly people and she takes her valuables and ships them off. she should have auctioned them and sent the money to the victims. self-absorbed to the bitter end.
