- We have Wells Fargo thru a Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae group purchase. We are in a Modification process again since they find every other reason to work with us.
I want to ask them (Wells Fargo) for these documents since we had our house purchased and transferred with 3 banks in 6 months upon our original purchase in 2005. I could not keep up with who to pay the mortgage since every other month it was a different company.
Now we have had Wells Fargo and I am pretty sure this situation will apply to us.
Do we have to request documents by a particular name or number?
I would rather not get involved with a lawyer if we have the same right to ask directly. - Reply to this comment
- Hello I dont know where to even start Im so angry with Bank of America Im sure hundreds more feel this way too. I purchased my home in 2003. I have three children two boys and one girl. In Jan, 2008 my son then 15yrs became suddenly ill and was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. I continued working to support my family and to also pay for some of the extra expences I now had. I requested help when I became late (2)payments I was approved for some type of program. On my second payment I called BofA to make aware of my situation. My sons treatment was given in Los Angeles Childrens Hospital and I traveled to and from because I had the other 2 children at home about 1 1/2 away. The Customer Service Rep at BofA scolded me by saying being a about four days late defeated the purpose of the program. I was advised by that same person at BofA to hold off on anymore payments. Now Bank of America has auctioned my home on 4/25/2011 without any notice my children and I now live with my Sis. Bank of America has no clue about Business and furthermore knows nothing about Family. The sad part about this whole Nightmare is My Home is Vacant and a few times my Daughter wonders off and I have found her there. She is only 14yrs old and has taken the phone number for BofA and made the call but says "Mom can I tell them I just want us to go home" I am so angry with all of the lies they have written to me saying that I was in review for a Modification and when I asked what kind of Modification I was told "Well its just a General Modification" oh ya and I asked for copies of my Documents and was told I couldnt have them. I was also told that I declined about four approved Modifications. In 2/2011 I received a packet with documents via Fex Ex I completed and sent it back and when my home sold without notice and I was still in review all Bank of America had to say was "Packet was sent by ERROR.......... My story is to long to write here is my phone number if you would like contact me 661 204-7447 milliegonzalez1@gmail.com

- It's all fraud of Wall Street, and the banks. Screw them. They deserve what the pension fund buyers of the AAA rated bags of manure that Wall Street sold them got, and will get NOTHING!
The TRUSTS are full of nothing and are worth nothing.

- We have come across multiple "ROBO SIGNERS" on mortgage documents with all types of banks. Homeowners are now being made more aware of what actually happened and banks are backed into a corner! If you have a mortgage with one of the banks listed below you may be entitled to instant loan modification or money damages because of their fraud! The following banks have signed consent orders with the FDIC and must produce original ink signed documents (which they don't have).
Bank of America / Aurora Bank / Everbank / One West Bank / Sovereign Bank / JP Morgan Chase / Wells Fargo / Citi Group / Ally Financial / HSBC / PNC Financial / US Bancorp / MET Life / Sun Trust /Deutsche Bank / IndyMac / Countrywide

- The FTC says Foresic Home Loan Audits have a high rate of scam potential and it wont help you negotiate with your bank. All of you forensic loan experts need to respond to this. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt177.shtm

- I've voted straight libertarian since 2000 to get rid of Reps and Dems and the lobbyist who control them. The politicians should work for us. I am not anti-government and I believe people who make more money should pay a higher percentage in taxes. We definite need more government to oversee big banks. The government should have let the big banks go bankrupt or paid the bailout money to the people with mortgages. Would that have not eventually been paid to the banks? Trickle up effect.

- That is a great point. Fraud is fraud and no matter who commits IT should be punished. The mortgage lenders should be dragged into court and found guilty for the crimes they have committed. Ignorance is no excuse for the law. They had a clear motive to do what they did and it was to fill there pockets with hard working taxpayers money. There is no reason they shouldn't have to stand before a judge just like any other criminal.

- Quite simply, altering mortgage documents is mortgage fraud and people should go to jail for this. As a mortgage lender, if I falsefied documents, it is called mortgage fraud and I could go to jail...so why doesn't the FBI or our government go after these banks??? Because they are the same banks that we bailed out 2 years ago and they have deep pockets and high powered lawyers...It is not fair to all the people that may lose their homes...Keep the pressure on CBS!
