- I was completely looking forward to watching this interview. I was stunned by the disrespect show to the president of Iran. A journalist is supposed to be unbiased. I felt that Wallace did not respect middle eastern culture. He did not allow time for questions to be fully answered. It seemed that the goal was to shove as many 'hard hitting' questions as possible in a very short amount of time. After this performance, lets see if another interview will ever be granted by Ahmadinejad to an American again.

- This is to all agents from the Islamic fascist structure in Iran who post here.
1. The interview Adolph Ahmadinaejad gave was timed not by CBS but by the leader of Iran Fuhrer Ali Khamnee. It is Known that the one who gives the interview, and not the journalist, makes the timetable.
2. The timetable was carefully arranged and coordinated with the plot at the next day to blow up 12 airliners on their ways to USA.
3. This was supposed to increase the impact for that interview.
4. So by definition he is the terrorist.
5. Ali Khamenee was also the main contractor for 9/11.
6. Bin Laden attained a conference in July 2001 at former Hilton Hotel in Tehran.
Why terrorists use suicidal methods in attacking these targets? Back in 9/11 it was the only way. But in 10/08 plot they could send suitcases with charges but they did not. Why?
Answer: These agents are disposable not only suicidal. The central bank for terrorism in the Islamic republic in Iran is very careful and obsessive not to leave any clues. The disposable agents have very low tactical clue or if you want you may call it short tactical life. By getting them killed the brain behind this in Tehran will have an ease of mind valuable to any serial killer.
I will write more on these details soon - Reply to this comment
- For years I have admired and enjoyed your program.
Now it saddens me to say that the interview with President Ahmadinejad showed lack of professionalism and complete ignorance of facts in the Middle East.
Maybe it is time for Mr. Wallace to call it quits.
He didn't even ask what motivated the capture of the first 2 Israeli soldiers. Very few people know that the Israelis took several Iranian men first.
With nations, as well as with people, we must offer respect in order to receive respect. - Reply to this comment

- I hate to rain on somebodys party, but I thought Mr. A. said everything he wanted the US to hear. He clearly explained why he said what he said about Israel, he made clear what Iran's aim was in enriching uranium, he made it clear he was helping Hezballah because the US was helping Israel, what more does anyone want from this guy. Don't get me wrong, Iran has done some bad things just like every other country I know of.

Honestly bighomerun4,with all respect, this was the most silly comment I read here. You're really influenced by Israeli/USA leaders, Iranians are clearly not after the nuke bomb, Iran did not violate the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty when they enriched uranium, they are full entitled to do so. It pisses me off to see how naive most of Americans are . - Reply to this comment
- Mike,
Seemed like you were digging for dirt in a sand pile. I was stunned at your lack of professionalism. The thing I took from this interview is that Ahmadinejad looked like the good guy, and you seemed puppetlike with networks and government pulling the strings. Our constitutional rights are great, but nothing without truth. I've felt lied to as long as I can remember. (Except by Andy Rooney)

- Dear behradpit,
Do you think America cares about you? You will be used like toilet papers. Tell me about yourself/particulars so that I show who you are. You have to be proud of your country ant its post-revolutionary Islamic government. The reason is the progress and independence that she has achieved. - Reply to this comment
- Congratulations on having the courage to produce such a thought provoking interview. Ahmadinejad comes across as an intelligent human being - so different from the usual media portrayal favorable to Israel. His views make sense in contrast to Israel%u2019s actions of collective punishment in Lebanon. It is sad that many people have objected to this interview on the grounds that Ahmadinejad disagrees with USA policy. It appears they prefer to live in ignorance and have their prejudices confirmed - rather than desire to know the truth and see that others are also human beings with parents and children.
Could we please have more interviews with people we never hear about except in derogatory terms. For example, could you arrange interviews with the leaders of Hezbollah and Syria. It is about time we heard their viewpoint in their own words - Reply to this comment

Dear Ones,
Please do not censure people of the news. Do give people real news. Do not repeat lies such as the one that says Hezbollah crossed Israeli border to capture two soldiers whereas the truth is that Israel had crossed the border and provoked confrontation so that Hezbollah defends/captures soldiers AND then Israel turn it around (a lie --that is repeated by press/media that has made it [in people's mind]as to what has happened) to JUSTIFY its'barbaric attack on Lebanon. Shame on press/media that goes to bed with the criminal governments.
Here is one of such numerous instances:

Fourth "Pilar of Democracy" is free press and media that does not exist in our country, the USA. Press has gone to bed with the war-mongoring government. Congress has become done the same. Censorship in here is worse than everywhere in the world. Military Industrial Complex (MIC) and corporations are rulling this country and Europe (see below).
Dr. President Ahmadinejad is a very kind, conscientious (unlike "President Bush")man whose heart beats for people; calling himself a SERVANT of people. He sounded very knowledgeable and logical who hates war, oppression, and looking-down attitudes. As to human rights Iran has been a champion of human rights, freedom, liberty, justice, and dignity (unlike our country with degrading attitude towards women and others --exploiting people [see the example below]}. Iran does NOT want to see women degraded and used as ***-objects. - Reply to this comment

- What ZION says: other people are retarded that is why they can kill so savagely:
HERE ARE SOME EXCERPTS FROM
"THE PROTOCOLS OF ZION"
7.1. The intensification of armaments, the increase of police forces - are all essential... there should be in all the States of the world, besides ourselves, only the masses of the proletariat, a few millionaires devoted to our interests, police and soldiers.
7.2. Throughout Europe... we must create ferments, discords and hostility... we must use great cunning... during negotiations... we shall keep... the mask of honesty... In this way... the Goyim... will still continue to accept us as the... saviours...
7.5. We must compel the governments of the GOYIM to take action in the direction favored by our widely conceived plan... by what we shall represent as public opinion, secretly promoted by us through the means... of the press, ... .
15.4. We shall create... free masonic lodges... the members... will be almost all the agents of international and national police... the police is in a position... to use its own particular measures with the insubordinate...
15.5. People who... but if there should arise in its midst a plot, then at the head of that plot will be no other than one of our most trusted servants...
15.7. To bring them to such a pitch of stupid blindness is it not a proof of the degree to which the mind of the Goyim is undeveloped in comparison with our mind?
15.8. We have not counted the victims of the GOY cattle... but for ... - Reply to this comment
- First, let me explain something. Muslims are not allowed to rape women. Thus, that part of your story is a lie. Second, do you even know where the Hejaz is?? And there are no sand dunes. Another lie! Safia Bint Huyay agreed to marry Mohammed willingly. Again in Islam you cannot marry someone by force. Thus another lie. The battle of Khayber, you talked about, the only thing you got right was the numbers. However, before the battle, Mohammed had made a truce with the the non-believers from Quraish. They, by the way were plotting along with the not so helpless Jews you mentioned to overthrow the prophet's army. The prophet ordered his army at night to surround Khayber. Which they did. When the Jews behind their fortified walls in Khaybar, in the morning saw Mohammed and his army surrounding them, they tried to resist. And lost. Thus, that is what happened. The prophet banned any of his men from hurting anyone who surrendered. And amongst them Was Safia Bint Huyay.
How about that! - Reply to this comment

- Dear janitorjim,
Your Khaybar story is a manufactured lie. How I judge is looking at the actual barbaric actions of Israel that leads me to pose this question: why everywhere (I mean everywhere) in the world that you go people say bad things about jewish people ( Believe me my best high school friend was jewish --I am anti-semite/Please do not throw it at me). What I observed Israel did in Lebanon give me a good reason to believe that the already-posted EXCERPTS OF PROTOCOLS OF ZION is true (and not be a fabrication by anti-semites).
Regarding your puzzlement of the postings of the so called Iranians, you should NOT pay attention to their postings. These people (with sub-serviant habit) are the immoral profitiers that following expulsion of the Shah have come here. These people (who think that they are better than the others) are sore for not being able to steal from people OR these guys belong to the Mojahedin cult who because of their extreme hatred are unable to forgive/get over their crazy anger (for NOT having had been handed the power following the victorious revolution of 1979). I am very current with the events in Iran and am aware of the DEVELOPMENT of post-revolutionary government. I know that Dr. Ahmadinejad is a VERY kind man AND that all the nonsense that these fallen-so-low guys say about him is ABSOLUTELY untrue.
I reiterate what I said earlier: "Iran is a champion of human rights, freedom, liberty, justice, and dignity." - Reply to this comment
- Mike Wallace was despeciably unprofessional and acted like a complete idiot. How can he be considered a journalist. I cant believe the Iranians did not send him back in a few pieces.
His was unacceptable behavior.
Mike Wallace needs to be barred from the entire Muslim world.
A journalist is supposed to just ask questions, not get into a back and forth argument with a head of state.
I think the guy needs to retire. - Reply to this comment
