- I am disgusted at 60min lately, you treated the NFL commissioner with more respect than our President of the United States! How can you be so disrespectful to President Obama, who had to interrupt his interview several times to correct your employee? Also, how does a non American interview our troops during war times? And among all of the unemployed Americans, you pick a non American for this job? 60 minutes has really sunk as a new organization lately, and is losing any credibility that it may still have. Disgusted no longer watching!

- Does anyone Read this? Time is growing short to report on an important case dealing with our rights to Fair Due Process. Right now the IRS can take your property without it! We claim to have the best system in the world but our rights are dwindling rapidly. Doesn't anyone besides me care????

- There is a petition in case # 11-331 now before the Supreme Court to be conferred upon during the January 6th Conference concerning the IRS's practice of denying the 5th and 14th Constitutional Amendment rights of every American taxpayer in their internal administrative procedures. No one seems to care. Does 60 minutes?

- Your piece on Grover Norquist was good, but not enough. We've followed the money back to the funders of Mr. Norquist, and the network of the dozens of think tanks and Astroturf grass-roots groups. There are a handful of foundations and the children of dead scions of 19th century capitalism, most affiliated with the John Birch Society and the Libertarian movement, who spent forty years building the infrastructure to bring the New Deal down from the inside. Mr. Norquist is a symptom of that funding. We'd like to challenge 60 Minutes to investigate the group we call the Dead Billionaire's Club. - The more I listened the more angry I became. It is obvious that the well to do in our federal government are taking care of their low friends in high places in the banking business. How do we hold the our federal government bureaucrats (our employees) accountable for their actions? It is a moral and ethical crisis.

- In watching your story on the homeless in Seminole Co Florida. I was much moved. You brought to light some things I have first hand experience with. It is illegal to be poor in this country. If you can not provide for your family, the State of Florida will take your children from you and charge you with a crime, child neglect. Because of the economy which the poor and middle class did not create but are sure to pay for, if left up to the republicans.
This, I see ties in with the story you published about "The Stock Act" bill. The way our legal system is tied directly to money. Our Checks & Balance system is imploding on poor and the wealthy seem to not get it or worse don't care. How sad. See if you can do a story on how illegal it is to be poor in America. It makes me sad to call myself an American sometimes. Here is another example of how our legal system is broke.
In most states if you can not pay child support because you can't find a job, because the economy is in the tank, the state takes your drivers license. if you still can't pay they throw you in jail, which they can't afford to run because they are federally funded.
So we spend on prosecuters,judges,clerks on down the line. Wasting millions on a broke system that is broke as in has no money.
Once again our Checks and balance system is broken. We need to go in a different direction with different people who have a better solution. - Reply to this comment
