A hold out juror negating well deserved death sentence comes as no surprise to anyone who has served on a jury. All factors considered, I maintain this system has a level of integrity somewhere between a Magic 8 Ball and Ouija Board. Fast talking, forked tongue lawyers only have to befuddle one clueless citizen, despite the majority vote should determine the outcome.

Yet another confirmation you must always assume the worst of your fellow man, and take every necessary precaution, which is not to fault the victims of course. I recently purchased a shotgun to keep at the bedside and now pondering if the barrel should be (legally) shortened with along with securing some type of illumination device.

Most psychopaths are also pathological liars and are only concerned with themselves. They have no conscience or remorse. That letter of remorse is an attempt to manipulate the reader. I would toss the letter out and never believe what they tell you. Forgive them if you must to relieve yourself of the mental burden, but never, ever give them your trust.

A lot of brutal crimes happen that have not been published here .. I am assuming that CBS is beginning to lose backing with Romney and are trying to pull heart strings as last attempt to keep their choice above water. I should thing the I Am Mormon ads instead of I Am Christian as they claim to be has been crystal clear with people.

All I can think of is the haves and the have-nots. Why did it happen? Because they didn't have and they didn't think it's fair that others have.

As for 2nd degree murder, how disgusting. This deserved the death penalty at the very least. This is different from committing a murder in the course of a crime, the women did nothing to prevent them or interfere.

I think that people need to be VERY aware that they are vulnerable when they are secluded. I have friends in suburban Colorado who still don't lock their doors. And people can notice this, and will target you.

And I wonder how many years ago this was. Can they say violent video games were part of the cause? Because this is pretty sick.

Isn't Christmas all about dying? Baby Jesus dying, or something like that? Just be happy mom is with baby Jesus now. God wanted your mom to come home for Christmas. It's a Christmas miracle.

I mourn for the loss of the good people in this story and I place the blame for the miscarriage of justice directly and squarely upon the cancerous Liberal paradigm that has infested our schools, our courts, and our system of justice. This was an act of pure evil perpetrated by evil men with no humanity. Their lives should not be continued; they have forfeited their right to continued life.

Clealy, both of these monsters should have gotten the death penalty. The holdout juror was an idiot. There was VIDEO for Pete's sake! This is one of those situations which makes you think an eye for an eye would be justified.
