- Hey MalloryDavis - I just read your post you put up at 3:24 am yesterday. I feel for your parents, if they're still around. Based on your post they better not ever cross you.

- Both Ian Allen and Rachael Mullenix deserve the death penalty for cold-bloodedly murdered Rachael's mom - Barbara. 25 years to life in prison for both of them is not sufficient punishment! This is a law-abiding society - trashes like them need to be disposed of pronto and swiftly!

- I don't think that she meant running, jogging, etc. She meant RUN as in leave town OR murder her mom on Tuesday. Of couse it could have also meant RUN ON TUESDAY meaning, they were taking off on Tuesday and not coming back.
While I don't think she participated in the killing herself, she still participated in the clean up and aftermath - obviously not caring at all whether her mom was alive or dead. She wasn't kidnapped. She is just a huge liar. - Reply to this comment
- Personally, I believe in matricide and patricide. There are those times when abuse is so abhorrent that the abuser deserves to be eliminated.

- Based on the evidence shown I believe she was a willing participant, either in the murder or the cover up. Her childhood sounded hellish. I wonder why her father didn't try to gain custody of her if the mother was that abusive. It sounded like he also had alcohol problems, but not to the extent of the mother.
On a technical side to the show, I get tired of these crime shows twisting and moving the photos around for dramatic effect. It tends to make the viewer seasick. - Reply to this comment
- These two evil people deserve to die for their killing of Barbara. There is nothing about any of these people that gives me pause for leniency. What a waste of humanity! The father seems in need of a brain transplant- STUPID! Talk about white trash.............

- This is horrible. My mother has BPD and last year I had to cut her out of my life for good. People with BPD are very vindictive and will do anything to get their way including hurting their own children and family members. My mother is also a drunk which is a horrific combination with her disease. If you have a parent or close family member that you beleive has BPD-get them and yourself help. I have just started peicing my life back together from all of the emotional abuse I suffered growing up as a child. A great book is Surviving a Borderline Parent-excellent read and workbook check it out!

- I live in the complex where this occurred. I find it hard to believe if Barbara screamed, no one heard it. The walls here are very thin. Plus it was a warm night and a lot of windows were open. The viciousness of this crime is unbelievable. I grew up in an abusive home and never once thought about killing my parents. I dealt with it and moved on. This homicide has bothered me since it occurred. It was too close, even though my townhouse is on the other side of the stream and not close to theirs. I can''t understand that such an evil thing happened. If I were Rachel''s father, I would be afraid of her. It occurs to me that maybe Barbara had passed out from drinking and awoke to find she was being stabbed.
Why didn''t Rachel call 911 or take some kind of action. She sat in the townhouse for 4 hours without doing anything. 25 years to life? It should be life without parole. She should never have the chance to do this again. College, a family? What if her child angered her, would she kill him or her? Thoughts to ponder. - Reply to this comment
- I live in the complex where this homicide occured. I can''t understand why no one heard Barbara scream. The walls here are very thin. The fact that something unfathomly vicious occurred where I live is hard to deal with. I do not believe for one moment that Rachel did not kill her mother. I hope her appeal fails and she never leaves jail. Who would be next? If I were her Father, I would be very afraid of her. College, a family? She took the life of a woman who gave birth to her, nutured her and loved her. I grew up with an alcoholic mother and never once did I entertain the thought of killing her. Read the book "Sociopath Next Door" - enlightening.
